we spent only one night in jodhpur at jagdamba gh. the cute gh was managed by a canny business man but operated by a highly-skilled and energetic youngster who's in charge of booking, cooking, tour guiding, carrying luggage, etc etc.
most of the gh in jodhpur should have a great view of the fort now that i think about given the fort's height, in terms of location jagdamba gh isn't that conveniently located, still takes about 10 mins walking down to clock tower then another 15 mins to the fort. but with the passionate acting manager who did his best to give us all the helps that we needed, and i personally loved the vintage decoration details of the hotel, i would still recommend it to others.
Hotel Feature Tip:
The GH owner has his own vintage collection shop, might as well take a glance.

Nice compact hotel

We had booked a standard room but by the time we reached they did not have a standard room and asked us to stay in deluxe room for a day. The hotel location is within the market and nearby the clock tower and thus all the major points of the city are easily accessible. Rooms were clean and although small gave a very compact and cosy feeling.
Staff was friendly and efficient.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The clock tower and the fort are at walking distance. And as is the story with most of Rajasthan , do bargain with the auto drivers as they generally quote you 2-3 times more fare.

Peaceful location,beautiful property,big clean rooms,clean toilets,very warm & hospitable hosts,superb food prepared with utmost hygiene & yes I'm a big big fan of Jagdamba Guest House and the people here.
Mukesh ji was very hospitable & Sankar was very helpful in everything.I used to have a great time chatting with Him during breakfast & dinner.
Sankar is the cook there.He's an exceptional cook & I had the luxury of getting different kinds of chicken dishes everyday on the dinner table.
I would love to visit Jodhpur again & that is just because I want to spend some good time here.
It is a home away from home. . . .My best wishes to Mukesh & Team!!. . Cheers!!
