Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

It was an enriching experience staying at Hotel Clarks and visiting the places nearby like the Panna National Park & TIger Reserve, Pandav Falls, Raneh Falls and of course the Temples of Khajuraho. Don't miss the sound and light show in the evenings at the Western Temples.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : (1) Temples of Khajuraho (3km). This is open from sunrise to sunset. Best viewed in the mornings and evenings. The sound and light show in the evenings (7:30 - 8:30pm) is worth watching.
(2) Raneh Water falls on the Ken River (tributary). A great scenic place, with four different types of volcanic rocks found together. This is also called mini-canyon in the summer and waterfalls in the rainy season.
(3) Panna National Forest and Tiger reserve. This park opens in the mornings (5:30am - 10:00am) and in the evenings. Better start early on a Gypsy (open-top jeep) early in the morning at 5:00am to maximize the forest view. Lucky few can get a glimpse of tigers and leopards. Other attractions are boating in the jungle river (Ken) and elephant ride. You can see the Old Palace hunting grounds. The park is closed in the rainy season (July - Sept).
(4) Pandav Falls (around 7km on the way to the Panna Tiger Reserve). A very beautiful place, worth visiting. Supposed to the the place where Pandavas (epic Mahabharata) stayed during their exile.
(5) Shopping in the Khajuraho Market. Stone jewellery is inexpensive (need to bargain), due to the local availability of the semi-precious stones.
