this hotel was lovely. it had a great location, lots of restaurants around. the restaurant in the hotel was very good.
the hotel itself appears to be one of the older colonial buildings, so the interiors of it were very nice. they had free wifi/lan cable in the rooms.
the hotel arranged for a driver which took us around kochi and ernakulum (sp?). the driver was great and friendly.
our only problem was with the so called 'travel desk'. there wasnt anyone actually sitting there. over the weekend the person at the main counter didnt give us very good advice on what to see/do in kochi. the main person in charge of the hotel seemed pretty on top of things though.
would strongly recommend this place to anyone visiting kochi.

Good hotel in Fort Cochin

Good hotel with nice and friendly staff. Room size is large with clean toilet/bath. Locate near the beach and Chinese fishing nets and many restaurants in the area. Connectivity of WiFi is also satisfactory. Complementary breakfast is good. Cons include lack of a fridge and drainage of bath area is slow.
Restaurant Tip:
Tasty dosa at the Loafers Corner. Good food at the Oy's. Cold beer at Seafood Harbour on th Rose Street. Chocolate cake at the Teapot.

We stayed for 2 nights at hotel arches, location was close to all the nice restaurants and.cafes, really easy to walk around. Room was clean and staff at front desk were helpful. The downside is the aircon unit was really noisy so we had to sleep with the fan.

A really nice little hotel in Kochi. Room was a decent size and the staff were very good. Location was excellent - just a block to the chinese fishing nets and all the shops. There was no bar fridge in the room but this would be my only complaint.
Restaurant Tip:
Try the seafood near the Chinese fishing nets. The guys selling it to you will show you the people who will cook it for you just around the corner. Delicious food.

perfect stay for people that are looking fopr a good price/ value ratio. the only improvement area is the restaurant: here variety and service can improve. also for dinner don't expect any alcoholic beverages (even not bring your own). much better affordable alternatives in walking distance.

Fort Cochi right at your doorstep, incl ferry terminal

i cannot find any fault with this lovely hotel. it is small, around 11 comfortable, well equipped rooms, free, easy access wifi, good breakfast in covered outdoor rooftop garden, very helpful staff and excellent location.
