Hotel Saas is quite good hotel near MG road and food mall.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
You can visit to ford kochi or mattanchery in just Rs. 3.50/ by ferry.

Worst service I've ever seen

We've never been treated so poorly before as we were in this hotel. Our booking was given away to another couple that walked in off the street and offered more money. After making us wait an hour because there was a line up of people with complaints, they told us that we had to stay in a horrible place down the street in a dodgey area where the rooms opened onto the street and could be opened by pushing on them even when locked. They seemed stunned and annoyed that we refused the place. Then after another wait they rudely palmed us off to another lesser hotel but at this stage it was late and we unhappily accepted. They told us to move into their hotel at breakfast time the next day and when we showed up they said that we could check into our room until the afternoon. When we tried to have our included breakfast they told us that because we stayed in a different hotel that we'd have to pay! After some arguing they let us eat although the breakfast buffet is only Indian food, nothing western.
When we finally got into the room it was fine but not great plus the power was off more than it was on.
The staff couldn't care less that they were treating people so poorly. Probably because there were so many people complaining about it that they'd become immune to it.
The experience really ruined my time in Kochi.

Horrible hotel, rude staff, and dirty rooms

Don't be deceived by the nice reception area the rooms are horrible and unclean.
On the first night of booking they moved us to the hotel next door (which was 500 rps cheaper) as they said they were full even though we had booked and paid. We complained and they said it was only for one night and they will have a room ready for tomorrow. The staff were very dismissive and rude, we did not feel welcome at all.
When we finally got into our room it was dirty and there were cockroaches everywhere, not just one but lots including under the mattresses and on the bed and under the pillows. We complained and asked to move rooms we were then shown 4 other rooms until we found one that was reasonably better and cockroach free apart from the one we found in the bathroom.
Do not stay here, Fort Kochi is a better place to stay for tourists and there are much better hotels for a lot cheaper. This was very expensive in return for what you get, an unclean cockroach invested room!!
