other than location there is nothing to recommend this hotel

we got a room barely big enough for two people to move around in, beds like rocks, noise from road all night long, air conditioning that either turned the room to ice or you had to shut it off, and room service that brought whatever food they wanted from the kitchen regardless of what you ordered. unless you've got money to burn and don't value a good night's sleep do yourself a favor and find a different hotel!

rooms are clean . No hot water . I had requested for the airport pickup , I had to waited for approximate 10 min.Overall experience was okay.food was awesome. try their jumbo prawn.

this is quite expensive for a hotel in india (though perhaps less so for kolkata) and although it was ok - the room was sizeable, clean and comfortable - there were still those little things not quite right, such as the shower door that wouldn't close, the wrongly set up ac, the un-netted bathroom window letting mosquitoes in, the moderately sized restaurant with a superabundance of irritating staff (6 waiters + 4 different levels of manager + 7 kitchen staff, none of whom seemed familiar with their own menu, and all for just 10 customers !!), the bar with incredibly loud music at 6pm which they wouldn't turn down even though there were only the two of us as customers.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Rooms at the front are VERY noisy - the main road outside is busy 24/7 - try to get one at the back or side. Given the loud throbbing evident in the reception area from the basement disco bar, I suspect first floor rooms might face the same problem, although it wasn't too bad on the third floor.

i waited 2 hours in the lobby to get my room. explanation was the room was not cleaned. the hotel is ok but service was so bad. even i heard one customer shouting in the lobby.
Nightlife Tip:
there are so many nightlife near this hotel.....

Good overnight stopover hotel between flights. Staff are very accommodating and helpful.

Recommend the fish curry at the 'Green Chilli' restaurant nearby on VIP road
