The Gordon House Hotel is 32 kilometers from the Mumbai International Airport, and 1.5 kilometers from the railway station. The three-star hotel is located in the chic shopping district of Colaba Causeway, and is near attractions like the Gateway of India and the Arabian Sea. The hotel is named after Arthur Gordon, one time owner of Gordon House, whose larger than life personality as the city’s most eligible bachelor is reflected in the hotel. It is also home to the popular nightclub Polly Esther’s.

The staff are overwhelmingly pleasant and your room is filled with free everything including shaving kit and slippers. Everything is neat/clean and hotel is not annoyingly big. The design of the hotel is very smart.
A low floor will definitely place you within earshot of the disco downstairs. However it shuts down at a modest 130AM.
This the place you go when you want be in the right place (Colaba) with out paying a fortune. Staying at the Gorden you are as central as you would be staying at the Taj, plain and simple. As a small hotel a lot detail is payed to design, cleanliness and little pleasantries like slippers and chocolates.

the bar downstairs was too noisy, toilet too small
location is excellent as situated downtown, accessible, rooms are clean and nice
