Relaxing atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff, well equiped and clean rooms, great breakfast and fantastic location.
The hotel is above a night club so some noise could be heard, although it did not disturb us too much. We slept with the air con on which drowned out the noise! There is also no pool.
This is a lovely, friendly and small hotel. The atmosphere is very relaxing and it is like stepping into a health spa! The staff helped us organise train tickets and restaurant bookings. The room was well furnished, spotless and although the bathroom was small, the shower was hot and powerful. The room had everything in it that you could think of. The restaurant downstairs looked good too and served a good breakfast. The night club below the hotel caused some noise but the air con drowned it out.

Clean rooms, good beds, friendly service
Small bathroom, window screens full of bird shit, view out of windows was to a backyard with trash bags, breakfast selection was limited

The staff are overwhelmingly pleasant and your room is filled with free everything including shaving kit and slippers. Everything is neat/clean and hotel is not annoyingly big. The design of the hotel is very smart.
A low floor will definitely place you within earshot of the disco downstairs. However it shuts down at a modest 130AM.
This the place you go when you want be in the right place (Colaba) with out paying a fortune. Staying at the Gorden you are as central as you would be staying at the Taj, plain and simple. As a small hotel a lot detail is payed to design, cleanliness and little pleasantries like slippers and chocolates.

Noisy becasue of the disco.
The hotel ambiance is nice and cozy. Staff are very helpful.
Nightlife Tip : If you like disco bars, the hotel has one, which is quite popular amongst the yuppie mumbai crowd.

Centre of the city. Good location.
I used this hotel during my business trip to Mumbai and it was indeed an excellent time that I experienced in Mumbai. I really enjoyed hotel's inclusive and friendly care for each customer. If i have an opportunity, I will surely visit the hotel again.
