Stay at the Marine Plaza was pleasant except for a few exceptions. The room was okay but smelled like cigarretts for all the days we were there. There was a great view of Marine Drive but the room itself was outdated and definitely could use renovating. The sofa in the room smelled like human piss. The restaurant and staff were lovely and the proximity to attractions was decent. I would recommend this hotel but not if you are used to high end type hotels.

The whole hotel smelt of Paint or Vanish, the smell went through all our clothes and suitcases. There is no free internet and even when we paid for internet it took 2 day for the staff to get it working. Our room key card failed on a daily basis and required a trip to reception to get it reprogrammed. Staff where sometimes helpful, sometime ignorant, it depended on the luck of the draw. There are much better hotels for the price in this area of Mumbai.
