rooms are pure bliss and there is even a blind into the shower great pool area, on the beach service is great I would def stay here again. One morning I was having my coffee and the Hotel Manager Phillpe even came and said hi cant service here really is amazing

The hotel was well located on the Juhu beach, the rooms were good, but the service staff response time was not good. It took the hotel 90mins to respond to a technical fault with the TV in the room I was allocated.
The best feature of this hotel is the breakfast services and position looking over the beach in the morning.
More needs to be done about the surrounding's of the hotel, the neighbouring plot of land was a dirty pool of stagnanting water.

Look at the premier floor packages that come with things like free internet access, breakfast, evening drinks and complementary airport transfer. These can represent good value if your are on a shorter business stay.

clean and efficient hotel experience. newly refurbed modern rooms. views over the beach from some rooms, and a restaurant area overlooking the beach. not as opulent as nearby jw mariott, but then hopefully its not as expensive either! staff are helpful with good english, and the wifi throughout the hotel seems to be a decent speed. great sunsets from the beach immediately infront!

i didnt realise til i got there that this was the old Holiday Inn hotel on Juhu Beach. if i had known i probably wouldn't have booked it! but they have done a very smart, and total, makeover, so that the only thing in common with the old hotel is the location, right on the beach! from the start the staff were very accommodating, upgrading us to 2 rooms on the premium floor so we could have free internet (i had complained about the charge of rs 800 per day for internet). they also allowed us to have a late checkout til 4pm. the food was excellent, and overall i would highly resommend this hotel to anyone who wants to have a breth of frshair while staying in mumbai. the only drawback is if you have business downtown it can take up to 1 hour to get there.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
right on the beach - nice for walking (but keep your shoes on as it is also the local toilet for some)

Think twice about it next time

As a female solo traveller on arrival I was subjected to a barrage of
questions regarding credit cards, advance deposits, etc., etc. In
addition I had to wait over 2 hours before being able to settle into
the room type which I had booked I finally was able to get to my room
after 5.00pm.
I was very disappointed with the quality of the room. Over the
weekend the rooms are often used by families and there was a remainder
of mung dahl scattered over the carpet, the shower handle came away in
my hand and the full flush of the toilet did not work.
From the facilities available I had understood that bathrobes and
airport transfers were part of the tariff, but this was not the case
although at the end of my 3-day stay, the Hotel Manager was kind
enough to provide complimentary airport transfer.
I have my doubts about staying at this hotel again.

Great hotel if you get the right room...

Last time I stayed at this hotel I had a lovely room with a very modern bathroom including rain shower, and it was mid way along the length of the building, not great sea views, but you could see it.
This time, I assume because I paid a cheaper rate on agoda, I got the crappiest room available on the 4th floor at the absolute end of the building nearest to the road. The room was older and had not been renovated to the same standard as the other one, the bathroom was completely different. But worse than that because of being at the end of the corridor, there was an intermittent loud noise which I assume was coming from the plant room or utility room opposite. On top of that there was a lot of noise (incessant beeping) coming from the road and hence I had the worst nights sleep in a long time.
I would go back to this hotel, but would be very insistent of which room they gave me. Another little bugbear about this hotel is they charge you for wireless internet, which at the rate you are paying, they could easily provide free.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Although this area along Juhu has some decent shops and cafes, you still do have to be very careful walking in this area. Last time we went a few months ago my husband and I were walking along the road having a general stroll and cup of coffee in the cafe, when a group of youths surrounded my husband and were trying to intimidate him by tripping him up so they could steal his carry bag and wallet. He got very angry with them and started shouting and luckily ran away, but after that I haven't gone walking in this area. It was a bit frightening.
