Great location & friendly staff
Great location, right in the city center, comfortable room

Hotel has a very rustic feel. We arrived at a very odd hour - around 4am, but staff on duty were still very welcoming & friendly! They were very efficient and graciously extended our check-out time. Very good location. Just a stone's throw away, you'll see Gateway to India & many quaint cafes.

Nice hotel with a bayside location. Construction work was being undertaken to upgrade the hotel, but the work was conducted during sane hours - i.e. from about 9am til 6pm. Good location in Colaba, close to Gateway of India and all the sites along Colaba Causeway.

Decent, mid range hotel in good location

The place looks and feels quite dated and the rooms are pretty small, but for the price it was OK. And the location is the reason I chose the hotel anyway so there were no complaints there, it is very close to India Gate and the Taj Hotel. Rooms were clean enough, and the hotel restaurant served good and affordable food. Internet costs extra.

To experience Mumbai, the Colaba is a very good choice with its kind of small town charm. The area is very peaceful and places of historical interest are quite near. E.g. Gateway of India, Victoria Terminal, the Elephanta Caves etc..
Nowadays the communication to and from the airport is relatively fast and convenient, when using the new Sea Link bridge.
University and Art Galleires can be found in close range.
Restaurant Tip:
Leopold Cafe very close to the hotel.

I was very disappointed in this hotel, I did not have that high expectations but this ... The rooms are spacious but old and the breakfast was not that good either. Had to ask for some plates to be cleaned as they were really dirty. Am sure there are nicer hotels around at the same price.

our room was small but clean and adequate, and quiet as it was at the back of the hotel. the rooms in the front were more spacious but probably a different price category. the food was good, the staff very friendly and helpful. very good location just down from taj mahal palace hotel and gateway to india. we took boats from there twice and also managed to do a lot on foot in colaba.
Restaurant Tip:
The first night we ate at Trishna, the second at Khyber, both in Colaba. Both were very good, delicious food.
