The hotel has started renovation of 25 rooms. The entire renovation program will be carried out between 10.00hrs and 19.00 hrs, and is expected to finish by July 15, 2013. Some noise and disturbance may be caused during the day time. There will be some noisy dismantle work during the beginning, and minor hammering work of the interior decoration during this period. Please note that the other hotel facilities will remain in service as usual.

By far the worst stay of my life.
Materially, the hotel is fine. The rooms, facilities and dining are what you would expect at this standard.

If you are South Indian or an NRI do not stay in this hotel. The thin veneer of customer service will soon shatter to reveal a psychotic loathing for those who have achieved prosperity overseas, especially if they have darker skin. Here is the police complaint drafted by my lawyers:

WeLuvMu solemnly state as follows :-
1. I arrived in Mumbai on 30th April 2013 on a mission. I checked in Sea Princess Hotel, Juhu Tara Road, Juhu Beach, Santacruz (West), Mumbai – 400 049 (‘the Hotel’) on 1st May 2013 in the afternoon and was to check out on 2nd May 2013. I had made an online booking with the Hotel and the room booking charges including airport transfer were paid by me in advance with my credit card.
2. On 1st May 2013 I went for a massage and steam in the Hotel spa and then went for a complimentary steam in the morning. While relaxing after the steam I was reading a magazine in which I found an interesting article. I thought I would come back to the spa and take a copy of that article. Accordingly after sometime I returned to the spa, on my way to take breakfast. I however noticed that the spa manager had changed. I mentioned to the new manager that I wanted to take a copy of one article from a magazine in the spa. However, he refused to believe that I was a resident of the hotel, despite the facts that I was carrying a hotel bag containing a newspaper that had been delivered to my room and a room key was required to use the lift to access the spa level. It took considerable time to convince the manager. Finally when I was allowed to use the spa however on asking the manager as to why did he insist on the proof of me being a resident

unprofessional and very rude

I was told that my booking is not confirmed, i showed receptionist my confirmed booking voucher but she was not interested and ignored me and started serving next guest, i found that very rude and annoying. I had to wait for almost an hour before they said that i can have the room but will have pay for it, i had payment details faxed to the hotel from London and told lobby manager please check for incoming fax but it took him further 30 minutes before he went to check, as he was on the mobile making personal call and kept me waiting until he finished the call and even then no apology or anything.

The décor of the bar is planned on the theme of a ship with trappings to match. The bar serves a range of Indian and foreign drinks as well as cocktails.
