Well-situated. Not too far from Taj Mahal. Not far from marine drive.
No satellite TV, no complimentary coffee in the room.
I asked for a fridge, I was given one, unhappily when you leave the room, it is not working.
There is a large terrace where it is pleasant to stay at 6th or 7th floor.
I was leaving at 5:30 pm, there are always taxis waiting in front of the hotel, it was not necessary to ask for one. Unhappily no breakfast, it was too early and breakfast is served from 7:30 to 10.
Travel tip : Bombay Hospital just across the street.

reservations for taxi's always went wrong, needs improvement.

I've liked my time in the West End Hotel very much. Nice room (especially for the money), the room and the bathroom was clean. In the restaurant you could use the buffet or order from the menu, taste for both was very very good and payable. Before I've booked I saw in a review something about noise because of the Bombay Hospital near the hotel. During my stay I didn't notice any noise of all. On saturday I had planned to make a trip to Elephanta Island, but my traveller guide (book) adviced me to go not in the weekends, because it's very very busy then. The personel of the hotel couldn't answer this question or my question for most important touristtrips. The only answer you get is that they walk outside and hold a taxi for you. I've travelled a lot and had better experiences with questions like this in many other hotels, this is something what needs improvement I think.
