Well located. Large rooms with comfortable beds. Restaurant staff extremely helpful.

Reception staff rather disorganized. No fan in bathroom. TV remote broken and no effort made to fix it.

The Ramanshree Hotel is well located, close to the Palace, the zoo, the town centre and many good restaurants. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable, though the welcome we received was less than warm and desk staff seemed very disorganised. In contrast, staff in the multi cuisine restaurant were extremely helpful and efficient. Buffet breakfasts offer both Indian and westernised options, with the Indian food being rather more successful. Apart from breakfast, we chose to eat other meals in some of the many nearby restaurants. The lobby houses a helpful tourism desk. Staff here were eager to help us organise outings and tickets, though prices invariably crept up to around thirty percent more than had been originally quoted.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : If you have a spare afternoon, don't miss seeing the zoo, which is remarkably good. You might even consider adopting an animal.
