Checking into Hotel Palace Heights was a quick and simple process. We were already allocated a room and once in it we were pleasantly surprised to find a modern and practical decor, with clean lines and an equally pleasant bathroom.
The restaurant provided fantastic food with swift and professional service.
We would certainly recomment this hotel to anyone staying in Delhi.
clean, professional, modern, practical, very well located, excellent restaurant (with nice wine) and well mannered staff.
the bedroom was perhaps a little bit small; the bed was a little on the large side and we would have apreciated more space to walk around.

If you're a Westerner you will get hassle from sellers and beggars - if this bothers you then you're better on an organised tour. Remember locals will help but expect a reward - 20 to 50 rupees is okay. Street sellers around some sights - Red Fort in Agra were aggressive. Don't get involved in a conversation if you don't want to buy and if you don't haggle you'll pay way over the odds (4 times or so in my experience). But India is about experiences more anything so don't get obsessed with paying a few rupees over the odds.
- Shopping Tip : Make sure you have lots of smaller notes - most street traders don't carry much change and it's not sensible to wave lots of high value notes around. Carry your small notes in a different pocket. Don't be aggressive if you haggle - it's part of the charm here but don't be mean - give a reasonable amount.you'll still be getting a bargain and an experience.
