located in the heart of CP,
immaculately clean,
kind staff,
first-rate food and ambience
Though the hotel rate exceeded our budget, my sister and I were totally satisfied. The room was immaculate, the welcome drink and fruits were refreshing, the staff was helpful and friendly, and the food was excellent. Topped with crushed nuts, the lassi was the best we tasted in all of India. The staff got up very early as we had an early flight and prepared a substantial, hot, and delicious breakfast just for us - at 5 a.m. The best benefit was the ideal location: as we stepped out of the hotel, the shops were less than a minute's walk.
Shopping Tip : within walking distance to quality clothes shops as well as souvenir shops and stalls selling inexpensive clothes in Janpath Market

Location, cleanliness, services, newly renovated
It was our first time in India so we had no experience of any other hotels in Delhi. This hotel was in a very good location, near the shopping area (in a walking distant) and metro. When we first got out of the car at our arrival I was a bit worried when I see the building but the hotel area inside was nice enough. Also many restuarants around and Saffron, the hotel dining, have good food. The staffs were attentive and ready to service. The room was a little bit small but always clean and have good amenities with kettle, tea set, daily complimentary bottle water. Decoration was new and modern.
Shopping Tip : Shankeer market at the end of radial road 6 where hotel is, is a good fabric market.

Fantastic friendly staff. Room was immaculate and even had a plasma tv on wall. Bathroom quite nice size with walk in shower. Staff attentive and even come in the evening to turn down your bed and give you chocolates. Good location, 30 second walk off connaught place.
The room was very small which was the only downside. We had nowhere to put our suitcases. We were only staying 2 nights so did not want to unpack. Left them on floor which did not leave any floor space.
Fantastic location with a 30 second walk from the connaught place. The taxi driver from the airport did not know where hotel was and I was directing him via my lonely planet guide. Staff were very friendly. Nice clean room but very small, no room at all. Bathroom quite nice size with walk in shower. If you are booking a city tour then book with Ashkok travel otherwise anyone else will rip you off. Turn left out of hotel and it is at the top of road.

-very very clean and modern room with very good breakfast
-helpful staff
We loved the breakfast here with variety to choose, the way its cook is up to standard. The hotel is in good location, the bank is on the 2nd floor,200 m to Palika bazaar and short distance away from market (kari..). selling wool sweaters, sari and dresses with the prices for local, not the overpriced for tourists.

- central location at connaught place
- very clean
- stylish rooms
- excellent restaurant (zaffron)
Compared to other hotels in ND you really get value for your money. Most other hotels are much more expensive but less clean. The location at Connaught Place is another "plus" but be careful to not overpay taxis there. The way back to CP was alway much cheaper than from CP to somewhere - strange, isn't it!? ;-) The staff is very friendly and try one of the specials on the menu of zaffron-restaurant. Minibar is (compared to other hotels we stayed in india) very well equipped, altough prices are western-style. My first choice if I had to go to ND again!

clean, professional, modern, practical, very well located, excellent restaurant (with nice wine) and well mannered staff.
the bedroom was perhaps a little bit small; the bed was a little on the large side and we would have apreciated more space to walk around.
Checking into Hotel Palace Heights was a quick and simple process. We were already allocated a room and once in it we were pleasantly surprised to find a modern and practical decor, with clean lines and an equally pleasant bathroom.
The restaurant provided fantastic food with swift and professional service.
We would certainly recomment this hotel to anyone staying in Delhi.

If you're a Westerner you will get hassle from sellers and beggars - if this bothers you then you're better on an organised tour. Remember locals will help but expect a reward - 20 to 50 rupees is okay. Street sellers around some sights - Red Fort in Agra were aggressive. Don't get involved in a conversation if you don't want to buy and if you don't haggle you'll pay way over the odds (4 times or so in my experience). But India is about experiences more anything so don't get obsessed with paying a few rupees over the odds.
Shopping Tip : Make sure you have lots of smaller notes - most street traders don't carry much change and it's not sensible to wave lots of high value notes around. Carry your small notes in a different pocket. Don't be aggressive if you haggle - it's part of the charm here but don't be mean - give a reasonable amount.you'll still be getting a bargain and an experience.
