Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.
We want you to pay the lowest possible rate for your room. If you have reserved a hotel room through Agoda, and then show us that you could book the same room, for the same dates, at a lower rate, that is viewable and bookable on another website, within 48 hours of booking your room with us, we will either match that rate or beat it. Lovely building, excellent service, fine cuisine

pricey

The Imperial is certainly the most elegant hotel in Delhi. It is a beautiful old building, very well decorated, with an old world feeling. There is a good choice of restaurants with good food, several attractive bars and excellent service. It is not cheap, but is worth the money

Staff went that extra mile to make sure that your needs were met

Rooms small.

Although the Imperial is one of the world's leading hotels I found the rooms very dark and requested a change 5 times. We eventually had a very good room. The bedding was excellent and very comfortable. The restaurants were exceptional and made our stay very pleasant. A little oasis in the middle of all the bustle of Dehli.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Dilli Hart was a good shopping experience and not too far out of the city.

The art. The comfort. The caring and helpful staff. The decor. The willingness to care for some of our luggage while we were off on a train trip.

We wish the boutique was larger and more inclusive. We would have liked to see some prints of special paintings and photographs. Otherwise, all was perfect!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Imperial. From the first moment we arrived we were impressed by the staff, our reception, the care taken to guide us to our room and show us around. We felt completely safe and comfortable. The restaurants were superior and you couldn't go wrong in any one of them. We spent lots of time enjoying the art and old photographs. Best of all we treasured the feeling of unhurriedness and peace amid the bustle of busy New Delhi.

Shopping Tip : Right across the avenue, on the corner of Tolstoy St., easy to walk to, the "Cottage Industries" shop has all sorts of things Indian, including tea!

the wonderfully friendly staff, the location, the hotel's historical background, the decoration, the quality of all services

the customers have changed over the years : more businessmen, more "nouveau riche" tourists with no manners, who have changed the atmosphere of the hotel: more noisy, more commercial and "americanized" (American entertainment music...). So it is definitely not what it used to be before, an Indian Heritage hotel with a strong character... And this we can regret. Prices have also rocketed.

A great place to stay, but don't expect an Indian Heritage hotel like the ones you find in Rajasthan. The Imperial has "westernized" a lot over the last few years and the crowd there is what it used to be: the old classy Indian atmosphere seems to be gone...
