Location excellent. Facilities clean. Staff professional. Included breakfast buffet quite nice. Good laundry service.
Watch out for the EXORBITANT PHONE CHARGES!!! One short call to a non-local Indian cell phone cost RS 1400!!!
Overall, the Hans Hotel is a great place to stay. The location is quite central (near Connaught Place and the main New Delhi train station but away from the dreadful Paharganj Area), the facilities are clean, the staff is professional.
The stay includes a nice breakfast buffet (try the fresh parathe (layered flaky flatbread) with mango chutney - you have to order these separately but at no extra charge). We also had a snack of pizza and beer in the Carmelo restaurant one evening - it's a pretty decent bar.
We got the room on a discount through Agoda, making it a very good value for Delhi.
Only one major complaint: Watch out for the EXORBITANT PHONE CHARGES!!! One short call to a non-local Indian cell phone cost RS 1400!!!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : This hotel is right next to the Barakhamba Road metro stop, making it very convenient to reach other areas of the city quickly and economically.

The hans hotel is nice place, comfortable to transportation, and near shopping area,
I stayed 4 nights at executive room. The guest room is nice, medium size, Bath room is clean. The breakfast is western + Indian food + noodle like Chinese food + fruit. I think breakfast is valuable.
The people in hotel are friendly and support you anyway.
Shopping Tip : Turn left side of hotel is better area. It is subway station, just 100 m., and bank, next station is Connaught Place which is Plaza Shopping, Pizza ,KFC,Mc around the circle.
Don't turn right side of hotel is awful area because have some guys like a gang asked me about my destination and look unfriendly.

Clean hotel, helpfull staff, great location, nice food
no spa, internet service was not that great
It was a great stay. We extended the stay for three nights more. The hotel located in the heart of the city. The staff were very helpful. Rooms were really great with high standards. There is a lot of shopping destinations and restaurants nearby. A metro station was nearby also. a well secred hotel. Delhi is a great shopping destination.

clean, friendly staff, good resturants. Reasonablly priced and close to main attractions.
I don't really have any cons, except the view is not terriffic mainlky because of the smog that we had whiole there.
The Hans is very clean and provides a good starting point for those new to Dehli. It is reasonably close to attractions and the staff are friendly. If you go walking from the hotel you get a warm, friendly and gentle introduction to the wider choas that Dehli can be and provides a welcomed sanctuary form the rush of the sourrounding streets. We enjoyed it
Travel tip : Negotiate the price of your taxi before you engage then to take you anywhere.

spacious rooms, good breakfast, and centrally located
i did not really dislike much
I stayed in two hotels during my New Delhi trip. The first had been arranged by my travel agency, and was much more expensive and much less elegant than this hotel. This I booked through Agoda, and was positively surprised. The service was good, it was centrally located and the breakfast buffet was very good. To be in New Delhi, this hotel was excellent value for money and can be recommend. I for sure will stay in this hotel again.

Spacious room!!! and very new.
Kind staff definately.
Taxi driver had trouble to find hotel.
(Not that famoust like brother hotel. Orchid central.
First of all, I like its spacious room and
very well orgarnized furnitures and necessity.
Staff also very kind and helpful to get more information abour near area.
I ever stayed Orchid Central just nearby.
(Guess they're kind of family hotel)
Room itself, this hotel is much better but
just few more minutes walk shall be needed from
busy area than Orchid central.

Good location and good breakfast!!
Very clean.
The shower didn't work well. It cost too much.
It is located in a good place for sightseeing of New Delhi. Hotel clerks were very kind. I have been to new Delhi in November. That season is not so good. It was very foggy. I heard the good season for sightseeing India is February.
Hotel Feature Tip : The hotel name changed from Hans Plaza Hotel to Hans Hotel recently. If you go back to the hotel by local taxi, please take care!!

Location - CLeanliness - service level
The staff service was very courteous and helpful. The bar was well stocked and the restaraunt had multi cuisine- saving one the trouble of dining out.Even the breakfast buffet was a reasonably decent spread.

Small rooms, housekeeping not helpful
Stayed 2 nights at the Hans Hotel in November, 2008. Didn't actually stay in the room much, as I was on tours all day, both days. This is one of the least expensive, but nicer hotels.
The problem I had is that I called Housekeeping 3 times to bring a power adapter, as my universal kit does not fit the power outlets in India. They kept saying "yes" but it never came.

Near Connaught Place, affordable yet in New Delhi; not broad lanes and not so noisy.
Very expensive internet, and had to wait in line to use the internet.
Western type of hotel, in the newer part of Delhi (New Delhi) which means spacey environment, and cheaper then all the other hotels that I tried. Good quality rooms though mine was separated by the room next doors by indeed just a door. Could literally hear every word my neighbours said. I told so at the reception - they listened and left it with that.
Good breakfast, also western style.

Really centrally located, almost on Connaught Circus. Fantastic views from the bedrooms, hotel is situated on 15 to 21st floors. Staff friendly and helpful.
No rooms were designated non-smoking rooms. The website shows Deluxe rooms and when we booked we were given Executive rooms so we had to upgrade as their quality was pretty poor. Deluxe rooms very nice, but mineral water allowance a bit stingy - just 2 per day then they charged.
This hotel has undergone some refurbishment recently but as with some Delhi hotels, it is not always to the quality of 4 star one would expect. The staff at front desk and room staff were pleasant, polite and helpful, but the underlying comprehension of how to run an international hotel was missing.
Restaurant Tip : Nirula's cafe on Connaught Circus is just a 5 minute walk from the hotel - serves really good Indian food at excellent prices, lunch there a definite bonus.

Clean and close to the shops.
I was extremely disappointed by the room, I had booked a Deluxe room at additional cost, the room I was given only had a queen sized bed and no additional seating area, nothing annoys me more as a single person traveling than being given these small single rooms when paying the same price as other travelers, the room was advertised as 30sq metre with separate lounge area. This was clearly not what was given.

The hotel is situated in a great postion, close to connaught place, staff freindly.
Breakfast restaurant/staff, were medeochre when complaired to other hotels in india. The breakfast was very simple.
All in all I would recomend the hotel and would stay there myself again, the room was clean and tidy. The position was great, close walking distance to restaurants and pubs. Also the metro line is a two minute walk down the road. The floor staff were very attentive and friendly. It was a nice place to stay while we were in Delhi.
Restaurant Tip : Go out of the front of the hotel and turn left and walk to the intersection and turn left again and walk all the way down to Connaught place. There you will find lots of little restaurants from Indian to Japanese
