The hotel kept heat on and when I asked why the Aircon was not working they said it was on a heat cycle. air conditioned I need not feel hot and have to put a fan on to feel cool as suggested by reception. The hotel manager was also rude and screamed that was their policy for winter in Delhi.

I confirmed with reception the charge from hotel to airport is but the driver ask us 800Rps.

Hotel rooms were clean but walls inbetween the rooms were so thin that we were able to listen the conversation next door.Breakfast was very bad organised and was not good .

Fantastic hotel!

The hotel is large and spacious, with a great breakfast and dinner buffet. Our room was on 7th floor and happened to be right under the Tokyo Lounge, so we fell asleep to the sweet lullabies of Asian karaoke - not. But otherwise, everything was great. The pool and hot tub were treacherous but fun. Great hotel.

situated in South Delhi, the best part of the hotel is its proximity to Nehru Place Metro station which will cost 20-30 bucks by auto and is around 10 mins away.
Its in the heart of South Delhi and there is one Kohinoor mall which has 4 good restaurants stacked up on ground floor which serve hukka and drinks. nice place to hang out.
Rooms are a bit small but size of the bed is decent (am over 6 feet and i was comfortable)
Overall a good value for money and i would give it 6.5/10
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
MEtor is most convenient and cheapest way to travel in Delhi. Get a Metro card and load it with Rs.150 and you are good to go for 2-3 days atleast no matter how much you travel.

Alpina hotel is so close to all the main markets...and GK1 M block market is just round the corner,so is Nehru place...so it was very easy for us to go around.enjoyed every bit of our stay...food was average..they just need to work on breakfast a bit...have more of continetal breakfast.
Restaurant Tip:
Bill chill and other famous restaurants are just around the corner...

The best hotel we stayed in after two weeks India. The rooms are very comfortable, new and clean.First class bed,tea/coffee making facility, big flat screen tv (although we never used it), fast WIFI in the room, big safe (big enough for your laptop), quiet neighborhood (so far possible in Delhi), 10 minutes walk from big shopping centre with supermarket, good dining facilities on the other side of the road, good taxi service to airport. Close to the Lotus temple (Baha'i House of worship). The only drawback might be the airco which was not working properly but happily there was also a good fan.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
A visit to the Lotus tempel Baha'i House of warship) is closeby.
