We had a good stay at Aura Hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful (although double check if you ask them to book something for you!). Few inconsistencies with operation of wi-fi, hot water etc., but when it was good, it was good. Rooms were very well cleaned and nicely furnished, food was good too. Street noise somewhat of an issue, but think you'll get that anywhere in Delhi! Would stay again.

On a loud block of Pahar Ganj

10 minutes walking through dodgy Pahar Ganj leads you to the Aura Hotel. Although I booked a taxi through the hotel, it was not there to meet me at the airport. I managed to get there, despite getting ripped off by the prepaid taxi booth. Count your change carefully! My chief beef was the endless noise, from the front and rear of the property. Ok for a couple of night in transit.

hotel hell with rude racist manager!!!

my prepaid reservation for me & my fiancee was not honored!! i got no refund & no accommodations were made for my inconvenience. i am american & my fiancee is indian, the hotel manager refused to let us stay in the hotel together even though i prepaid a month in advance!!! i am disputing entire charge!!! this hotel refused to honor any part of my prepaid res....no tv, no heat, no service at all!
Travel tip:
stay somewhere else if you are an inter racial couple!

The main reason I choose this hotel and paid for Premium because of the airport pick up. Arriving late in the evening, there was no pick-up and they made one excuse after another for their shortcoming. They were only willing to reimburse half of the taxi money despite I produced a receipt.

We stayed in the Aura for 3 nights and loved it. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. The rooms were perfect and it is only a 5 minute drive from Connaught Place. The buffet breakfast also had loads of options.

It was a winter season when we stayed this hotel but the air conditioner didn't work at all so our room always stayed cold especially just after we take a shower .except for that,this hotel is great.they really cared about us n our safety.Yes, i wanna recommend this hotel when u go to delhi city.
