Good value for money

Pretty happy really but a bit disappointed that the Manager tried to charge for mini bar items that were not stocked in the first place. Very slow checkout process so not worth arguing the toss - a standard tactic I'm sure!

ok for a one-night stay

we picked this hotel because we had to catch the 6:15 train to agra the next day. the staff is friendly. but the food at the buffet is average. the hotel is only a 5 min drive away from the ndls. however, the room is rather small compared to most other hotels we stayed in india and the insulation is not good. we could hear noise in the hallway the whole night, and there was a wedding going on in the hotel that night, which further added to the noise. if the price is good and we are only there for transit, i may pick this hotel again. but if we are staying for a few nights, i may pick another hotel that is in a quieter neigborhood and has more spacious rooms.

restaurant was excellelent. Staff very friendly and efficient. Rooms were clean with good room service.

Breakfast was complimentary and a great one. We did eat most of our meals here....clean and substantial.

Old Hotel - small room and dirty carpet

Must avoid it! There is strange smell in the room and the carpet in the corridor is very old and dirty. TV in the room does not work. This is the worse hotel I sayed in Idia during my 10-days trip.

Great Location, excellent service, friendly staff.
Transport located outside the hotel so no waiting for taxi or rickshaw. Great food for breakfast.

i had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel. very helpful staff, great location. hotel is old style but has been maintained in this style. lovely deep bath, plenty of hot water. i can recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in the heart of delhi.

Pleasant Older Hotel in good location

an older hotel, but not run down. clean room, nice bathroom.
breakfast is good, but only one non-veg option. made to order eggs, pancakes, fresh fruit. dining room was a bit crowded a couple of mornings, so i shared a table with others.
only complaint was the laundry service was not as promised. in by 10, back sometime tomorrow, not 6 that day as promised. otherwise, good experience, would return any time.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Be sure to get a hotel card when you go out for the day. Even though its a 40 year old hotel, most taxi drivers had no idea where it is !

Central location, renovated rooms
Central location in Delhi, friendly service, right behind a large sports stadium

although the hotel looks a bit old, the bedrooms have been renovated and are fine. the only complaint i have is at the time i stayed (dec 2011) there was clearly some renovation going on above my floor, but thankfully the work stoped around 9pm.
