Hotel in zentraler Lage, Zimmer zweckmäßig

gutes Essen im angegliederten Restaurant

das hotel befindet sich etwa 100m gegenüber des gate 1 des new delhi railway station. zu bazaar street sind es ca. 500m und man ist direkt im herzen von pahar ganj. das viertel ist jedoch nichts für leute mit höheren ansprüchen. es ist dort total wuselig, chaotisch und betrieb mehr oder weniger rund um die uhr. daher wabern auch oft essensdüfte durch die gegend und durch das hotel. service gibt es nur, wenn man danach fragt, d.h. unaufgefordert werden weder zimmer gereinigt noch handtücher gewechselt. sehr unflexibel reagiert man trotz 24h zimmerservice auf frühstückswünsche, die vor frühstückszeit liegen (24h zimmerservice schliesst wohl nur kalte getränke ein). das hotel selbst ist etwas unruhig, da es auch von vielen indern (vor allem jüngere leute) genutzt wird. gruppen haben dann oft alle zimmertüren offen und unterhalten sich über die gänge. preis ist gerade noch akzeptabel, das das preisniveau in delhi generell hoch ist.

Katastrophen Hotel. Direkt an Hochstrasse. Dreckig

10 m vor dem Hotelzimmer fährt eine vielbefahrene Hochstrasse auf der ununterbrochen gehupt wird. Die Fenster sind nicht schließbar. Die Putzfrau ist vor 11 Jahren verschwunden. Wasser zum Duschen gab es nicht. Bettwäsche zerrissen und dreckig. Das Zimmer war kalt. Klimaanlage kaputt. Es stank nach Essensresten. Der Mülleimer war seit Jahren nicht geputzt. Der Müll mindestens vom Vormann war im Zimmer. Die Lage ist unsicher, unbeleuchtet. 2 km weiter im Intercity war alles für den gleichen Preis top.
