A peaceful haven in a noisy, polluted location
Lovely comfortable room, good restaurant, nice ambience. Excellent restaurant and day reception staff.

We arrived straight from a long journey on a night train. It was wonderful to enter the hotel and be welcomed with a bottle of water and a cup of tea.
They forgot our wake up call. We left at 6 am and one of the porters came twice to check the minibar and tried to take the money I'd left for the room cleaners.
Restaurant Tip:
The restaurant at the Grand Godwin next door was also very good. The 2 hotels are very similar.

good hotel in a central location
very near New Delhi main train station, newly refurbished , modern and clean

My first sight of the location was a turn off. it was in a very small and crowded street. The place looks like a worn down area in Delhi. But when I got into my room, it was as if I was transported into a different area in Delhi. The hotel is newly refurbished with modern amenities used to enhance the room. The bed was clean and wonderful to sleep on. There is daily newspaper supplied. Breakfast and wifi are free. The wifi runs well in my room. Eventually i was able to adjust to the outside surroundings and discovered that it was in a ver good central location. The New Delhi main train station is near. So, those who are planning to go to Agra to visit the Taj Mahal by train will find the hotels location a real treat. The nearby b
huge bazzar is also walking distance from this hotel. 3 days of stay made me see this hotel choice as a very good one. It's worth the money I paid for.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Red Fort , India Gate, Parliament, Lotus Temple etc ... get a map and check out all the beautiful places in Delhi. One day is not enough to visit all the great places in Delhi.

on a noisy side street, rooms on higher floors are best for peace and quiet. clean and spacious bathroom. friendly staff.didn't get to try the breakfast due to very early checkout but had dinner at the restaurant on the top floor the night before which was ok. good value for money.

Good location close to Dehli station and if you want to experience what Dehli really looks like under the rug you do not have far to go to look. Many bazaars are local and lots of dirt roads and cross section of the Delhi population.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Good central spot, close to train, bazaars and shopping.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights during a stint in dehli. It was fantastic. It's a really modern hotel in a busy, local area,adding to the great atmosphere. Room was amazing for the price we paid. Clean comfortable bed and great bathroom facilities. Room service was excellent and the staff were very accomodating. About to book again on our return to dehli. STAY HERE

We stayed 2 nights and found the hotel comfortable. A/C , TV and hot water -all worked fine. Breakfast was ok.
The location of the hotel was noisy. There was constant traffic noise at night.
Reception staff were friendly and helped to organise our sight seeing.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
For sight seeing, best to hire a car (through Travel desk)for rs 1500 for full day (upto 80km).It will save time.

We did not enjoy our stay there at all even just one night as:
-the sheet was dirty with a lot of stain on which shouldnt be on the white corlor
-A lot of noise from neigborhood at midnight
-no free wifi, though you have to pay for it but its very slow and applies for
1 device each payment only. We asked for a wifi and they said they will send to the room right away but
At least 30mins after we asked (was almost midnight), they gave us wifi.
Also we used like 1hr but had to pay price for half day.
-As we arrived very late and got too exhausted after long train and wished to have a make up of long sleep
In the morning, but they waked us up by knocking the door very early, which we didnt want to respond. Then they did not let us alone, called few time to ask about visa number though when we checked in they took copy of our passports and visas in there, but they didnt want to get olit drom there, instead they waked us up few times in early morning.
-when we went down to go out, one hotel guy asked about our room number, i asked him why but instead of explaining he kept asking and did not anawer why- really ridiculous and we had no idea why so we did not answer as if he had wanted with a right purpose, he always could have looked at our information at check in
-lastly we were on run to the airport as late so we tried to check out fast and asked them so.instead of helping us, they process most slowly ever, then asking if we took any thing from the bar, answered no but they said they need to check.i asked them to send some one to the room and check it fast then while my friend is grabbing luggages in the room, they did not and waited till my friend came down and got ready to leave, then they kept us there to check the bar and etc.,,,anyway, partly thank to them so we missed our flight to Kathmandu just only 5mins.
Travel tip:
If you would not mind those above things, then 1 night stay is considerable but it was really bad experience for us!

Good Location but not so good Access

The hotel is in a good location as it is within walking distance of New Delhi railway station.But it does not live upto my expectations as the tariff is higher than Grand Godwin but the rooms are smaller.I would prefer Grand Godwin than to this hotel.They have Airport pick up facility for free but do not have free Airport drop facilities.
