We stayed for 5 nights. We had booked transfer and we had no problems to find it at the airport. We booked a 3 day tour and went to Agra and Jaipur. Good help from the hotel.
The restaurant at the roof was good, good food, sometimes it could take long before we got the food though.

Very good price!
Close to the airport (30 minutes by cab) and train station (7 minutes on foot). Hot shower!

the hotel amax inn is in the city center, just 7 minutes walking from the railway station, was perfect for the early trains to agra and jaipur. this was the cleanest hotel in my three weeks holiday. the staff was helpfull everytime, they know where we are, where we go. the internet working only in the lobby, but there is fast. they have airport drop and rooftop restaurant for reasonable price.

Internet only in the lobby and it was very slow. It was hard to pick the 3 best things about this hotel. Honestly, my wife and I don't really know why this hotel got high ratings on Agoda.

This hotel is right in the heart of delhi and the staff was incredibly helpful in helping us figure out our waitlisted train tickets. That is about the last good thing I can say for Amax. The entire room reeked of mothballs and all the linens had a thick layer of something (pesticide perhaps?) on them which left a greasy residue on you where ever you touched them. The overall stay left us feeling dirty and unclean. Delhi is a tough city to handle even if you are a seasoned traveller and it is a good idea to book a hotel that can be somewhat of a safe haven after a day of delhi bustle and sadly this hotel was not that. If your budget allows I would however highly recommend hotel godwin grand (on agoda as well) which is right down the street.

Good location to start your day but it's too noisy

The location is good for travelers who want to travel by metro. Because you can go by walk, no need 'auto rickshaw'. But for travelers who want a hotel for take a rest and have a nice sleep, this hotel is not a good choice for you. For the room, i have to say 'it's just ok' not impressive.

friendly welcome, offered a choice of rooms upon my arrival, rooms are very cold at this time of the year, rooms are only cleaned when you check out of the hotel " i've been here for 11 days now...." wi fi. is available in lobby only. there is a rupee charge if you use the internet to make a call. helpful staff. location near train station and walking distance of connaught place.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Be very careful of tuk tuk taxis they like to take you where they get a commission for anything you spend I.e. Travel or purchases..
