friendly welcome, offered a choice of rooms upon my arrival, rooms are very cold at this time of the year, rooms are only cleaned when you check out of the hotel " i've been here for 11 days now...." wi fi. is available in lobby only. there is a rupee charge if you use the internet to make a call. helpful staff. location near train station and walking distance of connaught place.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Be very careful of tuk tuk taxis they like to take you where they get a commission for anything you spend I.e. Travel or purchases..

Ok hotel for the price

It was an ok hotel, staff were certainly friendly and helpful. Room was ok, not the cleanest though. Did enjoy the hot water though. The 2 nights I was there though there was parties going on directly below my window on the street. A wedding one night and a party the following, made sleep impossible. I complained on the 2nd night and they moved me to a quieter part of the hotel which I was very grateful. The hotel can't control the people living around the area so I understood that but it was quite horrible.

Very close to Pahar Ganj and New Delhi station

well...
This hotel is near to the central station, close to paharganj but there are a lot in the same street.
The room was small and dirt. I had no place to put my backpack. There is a terrasse where you can take your breakfast, lunch and dinner, and of course a drink.
I told the people in the hotel to catch me to the airport but nobody was there... When I explained that to the responsable, he told me that i never confirmed that, but I showed him the e-mail... No excuses at all...
My opinion :
there are a lot of hotels in the same street and at the same prices and closer to the station, so don't come there...

The hotel is ok... Nothing so good and nothing so bad, The staff is amazing, always helpful, but the rooms dont had any plug and in 5 days i stay there, no one cleam my room anytime. For the price you pay, i think is ok.

Loud, noisy area with rude staff

Situated in incredibly noisy area with no hot water (common in India though). Impossible to sleep, made even worse by rude staff who come knocking at your door at 5am for all sorts of things and not stopping until you open. Security is pretty low too, and street kids and dogs await you outside the door.

My stay was vry pleasant, loved it like anything, helpful n courteous room service, food was a bit costly & not tasty as thought, still can b compromised. outside, in the lanes have a few food joints & small restaurants to cover up for the same. hotel is located a bit inside, so no sunlight in d morning/during daytime..pigeons rest over d cooler & the next building is just adjacent to it..very near..so no roms for sunlight to pave its way..
Travel tip:
new delhi metro+railway station is nearby..just 300m away..so gr8 connectivity to any place, many eateries n joints on that way so no problem hogging slong d street-side..carry ur own laptop/netbook..although they have a computer. wifi charges r nominal @Rs 50 per day. have cash with u as atm counters r a bit far away, though there r currency changers.
