Clean, quiet, comfortable room with great location
Location is wonderful....right in Connaught Place with lots of restaurants, shopping, well lit streets, clubs, bars, government emporia, Metro stations

Hotel Bright is very comfortable and excellently located. Rooms are nicely furnished and the bathrooms are very good and well supplied with ayurvedic soaps, shampoo, etc. Beds are soft as are the linens and towels. The place has a very European feel. The entrance to the hotel is not pretty. You must climb some stairs and go through a room that looks terrible. The door at the end of that room opens into a world of quiet, calm, coolness, and excellent service. So, don't be put off by the entrance, the Hotel Bright is a small gem in a fantastic location. There is quite a bit of Metro construction going on in Connaught Circle at present, but the hotel is quiet. Watch your step as you walk around, but that is true everywhere in India.

Good hotel not too expensive for Delhi
9.3
The hotel is located in Connaught Circle so good for shops, metro, and restaurants. Only provides in-room breakfast and it wasn't bad. Apart from laundry and wifi, no other facilities available. The hotel is difficult to find as it has just a small door onto the street and is located on the second floor.
Travel tip:
Ignore everyone who tries to talk to you in the area. They seem helpful but they only want to sell you something. Very difficult to get rid of them.

Fine location and nice hotel
The brith is on Connaught circle with easy access to the metro lines, The staff is caring and courteous

The Bright Hotel has nice clean rooms and breakfast is served in your room. It is easy to be put off by the entrance to the hotel. You have to climb some stairs and follow the directions to the hotel part of the building. My wife was intimdated by the shadows going up at night. However, inside, the hotel is bright as the name alludes and the staff is top notch. It is a very good price to value hotel.

Hold judgement until you get inside.
Prompt friendly service, clean and comfortable.

The Hotel Bright was my first hotel experience in India. I arrived with my 14-year-old daughter after midnight. The outside looked like a demolition site, and we headed up a steep staircase to an area which looked like a graffiti-covered crack den. However, found some doors to go through into a pleasant, clean foyer and then into a clean, comfortable room. The service was good as were the facilities. A happy and safe stay for mother and daughter.

Clean and well-decorated rooms with modern toilets
Good location at Connaught Place

The rooms are nice and clean and the bathroom modern. The entrance to the hotel is slightly run-down but the hotel itself is nice for the price. Rooms are a little small. The reception is pushy with selling their tour services though which was annoying. Also, they took forever to resend my amended voucher.

Although the outside of the Bright Hotel is very unimpressive, once inside, we enjoyed a clean, up-to-date and comfortable hotel. Breakfast is served in your room.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Don't be discouraged by the exterior of The Bright hotel. It's quite nice inside.

Nice centrally located
Friendly staff, but not too friendly! (ie applying tip pressure)

The staff is good, the room was neat and clean, and it is very close to the metro, which is a great way to explore Delhi.
Shopping Tip:
When bargaining, I always decide ahead of time what I am willing to pay. If the seller isn't prepared to go to that price, then, just walk away. There's always lots of stuff to buy

The outside is not much and would have scared me if we hadn't gotten a recommendation for the hotel. Accomodated our family of 11 nicely with 5 rooms and late checkout.

You don't have to use an agent to buy your train tickets, go direct to the railway station. However if you use the hotel's recommended tourist office , you might end up taking a tour elsewhere as they always seem to have waiting lists for train tickets. We did, and what a great trip it was..to Kashmir !Hotel a bit overpriced for facilities offered but would recommend it .
