This was the best hotel I have stayed in whilst in Delhi. I have been to Delhi many times but mostly staying in budget hotels. This is on the high end of budget. The room aren't the cheapest but then whilst in Delhi its nice to have a bit of comfort and you get what you pay for.
The 2 rooms I stayed in at the beginning and end of my trip were very spacious.
The bed and pillows were fairly soft which can be hard to find in India except in flash hotels. The hotel supplied basic soap, shampoo, comb, toothbrush, toothpaste and toilet paper for free (usually you supply your own) which is nice.
The bathroom was basic but very clean and there was hot water at any time of the night or day. (Also a good point for a Delhi hotel)
The room has a TV with loads of channels to choose from. I liked the Bollywood and English movie channels. There was 24 hour room service. The food from the kitchen is great. One thing I would suggest is to ask for a room away from the street as it can be very noisy late into the night and early in the morning. 1 room was quiet and one was noisy. (I had earplugs anyway)
The staff at reception were very friendly and accommodating. The staff there will carry your bags to your room for you, open the door for you, pick you up from the airport if you request it and book a taxi to wherever you want to go to.
It was a bit weird on occasions coming down to the foyer where all the male staff (when they had nothing to do) would all congregate in a group. When I would come down stairs I felt all eyes were on me which was a bit uncomfortable but then I was a woman alone in India. Not a big deal really though. Ive travelled alone in India a lot and you get used to the attention.
There is free wifi available in the foyer and there are comfy couches to sit on to use the wifi.
I think this is a great hotel if you want an inexpensive, clean hotel with friendly staff.
Shopping Tip:
This hotel is located 2 minutes from the main Bazar Paha Ganj which is the main tourist shopping area. You can find everything here, from Bags to jewellery, textiles, bedding, perfume etc...

too much overquote...
good location of aircon in the room (not above the bed)

too much overguote. such type of room can cost more. freese doesnt work, the room is small and dark. not bad location-nearby new delhi train station...and lot of cocroaches....too much...

This hotel was disappointing from the off. To start with the driver that was supposed to pick us up from the airport didn't turn up and when we arrived at the hotel the staff had the cheek to tell us off for not waiting for the driver- even though we waited 30 mins past the arranged meet time, we later found out he turned up at the airport 50 mins late!!
The room was actually ok for what you pay, it was clean, had hot water and AC, however due to its location it was very noisy at all times of the day.
The hotel is located in the backpacker area of Delhi which unless you have to I would avoid at all costs. Having spent 10 weeks in India I know to expect dirty, odd smells and noise but this area took it to a new level and just generally felt unsafe.
When we checked out staff informed us that we would be charged for an extra nights accommodation. In a lot of hotels in Delhi you have to check out at the same time as you checked in- because we arrived at 04.30 and didn't check out until 08.00 we were expected to pay for a full day. We spoke to the owner about this because were were obviously not happy to pay, especially given the airport pick up situation. The owner was actually very nice and helpful and after a chat has agreed we wouldn't have to pay for just half a day.
