i stayed at the royal plaza for 1 night-2 days. (check in-27/04/2013, check out-28/04/2013)
the hotel is centrally located and the prices are very competitive.
i went with my wife and kid, as we had to attend a wedding late in the evening.
the check inn was okay, although i was a little surprised when they asked for a deposit at the time of the check inn.
the basic room is small. i wasn't a fan of the room size or the view when i entered the room.room was clean though.
had lunch at the multi-cu-sine restaurant.. the food quality was good. but i have to say that i wasn't impressed with the staff. i didn't find the hotel staff very friendly or helpful.they behaved as if it was a real burden doing their own job.
what was really uncomfortable was the fact that the hotel did not let me post any of my bills (may that be of the lunch we had in the restaurant or the spa/salon charges) to my room. when asked why - they said that any bill more than rs.5000 could not be posted to the room. is this a 5 star hotel or 2 star" i said to myself.
all in all, it's a good hotel if you get the room at a cheap price.. otherwise i would advise you look elsewhere!

It was a very bad experience.
1. Very old room, no renovation - hot water very mild
2. our bag was left in the scanning and the guy did not inform us.
