The"Hotel" which is not a Hotel as such but a family house with a few rooms is to be found middle in a Ghetto , surrounded by ongoing building works day and night and lots of mad barking/fighting dogs. You are woken early after the couple of hours sleep when the dogs finally stop fighting by the sounds of building site noises ie people shouting orders and delivery vehicles to the site which is approx. 4 meters from the room window.Also the fruit man and paper boy come constantly up and down this road hooting horns and shouting what I assume is " fruit and veg and newspapers" very loudly , this all happens at about 7am or whenever it gets light.
The "Hotel staff" bring you your breakfast , which isnt bad to your room as they have no dinning facilities , they then hang around in your roomm starring at you slyly expecting a tip for doing this , I felt very uncomfortable at these times.
After my first 2 hours in the " Hotel " I asked for a map of Delhi to which the "Hotel" Manager said a " friend" would give me one and I was whisked away to a " office" which was a dingy room somewhere in the Ghetto.Under pressure I was not given a map but ended up paying 10thousand rupees abotu 180€ for a day trip around the city and a day trip to taj Mahal, Iwas furious later when I found out I could have done all this for about 3 thousand ruppes through a respectable tour operator .
I could go on for ages about this place but thats enough . I will never set foot inthis so called Hotel ever again , even if it was for free

Nice clean hotel in Karol Bagh

we have now stayed here on two separate trips to delhi and have been satisfied both times. the rooms are large and clean with decent bathrooms as well. the free breakfast is a nice bonus and delicious. the location of the hotel is a bit difficult to find but now we know our way so that is okay. if arriving in the dark i'd recommend organizing a pick-up. it is about a 5 minute walk to the karol bagh market and metro station making travel around delhi easy. one night the kitchen was out of cooking gas so the staff went out to another restaurant to bring us some dinner and were very friendly and helpful. they do overcharge a bit for taxi hires around town so it's best to get your own taxi or rickshaw outside which is easy enough to do.

nice friendly hotel in the middle of new delhi. We got a tuk tuk taxi from outside the hotel to drive us around the area. We found good shops, lovely local people, very safe area. The room itself was pretty good. The indian breakie was amazing and served in our own private dining area outside our room. I'd stay just for the breakfast.
Hotel Feature Tip:
difficult hotel to find so make sure you have the phone numbers (which agoda do not provide) and correct address. Otherwise could be a nightmare to get to where you want to go.
