Great choice for a weekend in Delhi

it's a lovely hotel; rooms are quiet even though we were on the ground floor facing the road. bed is very comfortable. breakfast is good. hotel taxi is reliable. we enjoyed our stay over the weekend. the only downside is someone managed to open our door at 4.30am one night, which is very unsettling. fortunately the security chain was on. we reported the accident, though not sure if this was investigated.

The hotel is next to a busy road, so if you can, choose one looking at the backyard. I was staying next to the road but as i always travel with ear plugs, the traffic didn't bother me.
Overall the hotel was much better than I expected from the reviews - some of which was totally unfair.

Good hotel and great service

the hotel has good standards and exceptionally nice staff. in fact they are the nicest i ever came across. people here take hospitality to a new level. as in most places in new delhi the best way to get around is to hire a driver for the day. i was lucky to have ashok as a driver. he is the gentlest, kindest man and importantly he finds you as soon as you step out from your place of interest.
