We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Maidens and will recommend it to others. One drawback - hthe food was quite expensive, but there is a lovely cafe just up the road. Hotel staff were very helpful abd friendly.

Very nice but room too hot and uncomfortable
The staff - genuinely caring, the gardens, the room except for the heat

Generally great but, due to central controls, they couldn't turn down the temperature of the room..its seems common in India to go overboard with heating, even in winter. They had to provide a fan which was a shame for affecting the ambience I wanted. Also after a party in the evening in one of the public areas, someone chose 3.30am to move and bang chairs there noisily right below my room keeping me awake for a long time.
