Business Hotel far from IGI airport

fast check-out not check-in, breakfast variety, staff

On internet via Agoda I booked hotel called "Red Fox Hotel, Aerocity" which is newly built and location is very near to IGI airport. But I was shocked to know after exchanging several emails with Agoda and then directly to Hotel that hotel is not yet ready for business. Hotel informed that it will be ready from 1JUN2013 and offered me another hotel which is around 30 mins car ride away. We chose this hotel due to its near location to IGI airport. We reached in the midnight 12:30AM at IGI airport after having a 10hrs of international flight. Before going to India I contacted hotel (several times) for airport pick-up but after reaching I couldn't find anybody for pickup. Then I called hotel directly and person at desk told me that pick-up person is waiting extremely outside. Anyhow we reached hotel lemontree, Gurgaon. But staff told that we do not have double bed room available for you. Then they transferred us to another lemontree hotel branch. Be careful if you are booking Red Fox Hotel, Aerocity or Lemontree hotel.

Booked and paid for on Agoda, but not open yet!

The staff who assisted us with alternative accommodation in Gurgaon. The quality of the alternative accommodation and the service.

We arrived at this new hotel complex (Lemon Tree and Red Fox) to find that it wasn't open as it is brand new and hadn't received it's government licences yet. The lovely people at the security gate, whisked us inside gave us drinks and food, then transfered us to their Lemon Tree Premier hotel in Gurgaon. AA Nothing was a problem and we felt like royalty. What a way to end our trip to India. Thank you to the wonderful people at Lemon Tree/Red Fox Aerocity and the wonderful staff at Lemon Tree Premier Gurgaon.
