Slightly overated. Falls short in location

We stayed in amber for 3 days and were generally happy with the stay. Location of the hotel was quite off from the city center in a residential area. One can only hail tuk tuks if not cyclos as there were little if not no taxi around. As tourists, we travelled using the hotel recommended car to Agra and around New Delhi. It was reasonably priced and not heavy on the pocket.
Hotel room was big, spacious and comfortable. The only negative point was the shower which was particularly cold in the night although the staff claimed that the central heater was switched on. Room service was reasonably priced and the breakfast had a good spread of both indian food and western fare. The main negative point would be its location if not overall it was a good stay.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Avoid rooms near the road as it can get a little noisy.

I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. The rooms are spanky and new but for the price we pay, there are many short comings
1. This is in a complete residential layout
2. You wont get a single auto let alone a taxi here where you can flag it and go anywhere the only option you have is a cycle rickshaw !!
3. The hotel dosnt have any good restaurant or ANY other facility it is JUST a place for you to sleep
4. service was poor with untrained staff.
5. They turn off the hot water supply !!!

We tried to get home early because of a hurricane in the States - the Desk tried in multiple ways to help us - but tough to deal with changing a ticket in August - we stayed an extra 4 days.
With 3 little kids ages 4, 7 and 8 spicy food is not their favorite - but the chef cooked up some not so spicy meals for us.
The Front Desk always provided great instruction for our journey - how to use the Metro, how long a trip, which station to get off etc. By the way the closest stop is 50Rs away - it is fast efficient and easy to read the lights (red and green) on the train of where to get off. Be sure to hold the kids hands getting off and on at the busy stations.

This place is great. It’s spotlessly clean, tranquil, and has the friendliest most helpful staff you could ever hope to find. The meals are fresh, delicious and are prepared and served with obvious care. It was nice to have a spacious, clean hotel room to stay in. We were provided with water and other beverages at very reasonable prices in our room, and the staff were very flexible in meeting our meal requests.
