Exquisite hotel but apparently confused
Excellent gym and the grandeur of the Leela cannot be understated; restaurants cater to foreigners

The staff were pleasant but after having been in Jai Mahal I could see the stark difference. Here at Leela the staff very courteous but one can see that it is their job.
I think I smile more than the staff do. Ironically they always get my name wrong mmmmmm... but like Radisson I got no response to my email to the hotel explaining it is important to know the name of your guest.
They were very accomodating and did open the gym at 4am at my request. They also were willing to consider your request for food allergies or recommend places to go (ask the chaffeur not the conceirge would be my advice).

It is such a grand hotel with heavy security and one feels safe. Furthermore it is a fairly new hotel situated near the diplomatic enclave

Megu - Japanese Specialty Restaurant
Meaning "blessing" in Japanese, this modern Japanese restaurant at The Leela Palace New Delhi has the best of Japanese cuisine, sushi, and sumibiaburiyaki arguably in the country. Besides offering a high quality environment, MEGU delivers outstanding food quality, brilliant design and first class service. MEGU is a harmony of all the finest and rarest ingredients found from around the world.
