Not worth the money we paid.
I can't think of 3 good things about this hotel. We have become used to expecting a certain standard of service from hotels of this class and the Grand Hyatt Goa was clearly lacking.
4.3
Our initial experience set the theme for the stay; upon checking in the staff did not acknowledge the request we had made via Agoda for a pool-facing room on the lower level, this was despite the hotel only having 16% occupancy so there was no reason to disregard our request. The hotel has a large swimming pool with sections that had a Jacuzzi effect, however these weren’t working. On Day 1 we were told that the Jacuzzi was on a timer and did not come on after 6 PM, given that it was 6:30 PM we accepted their statement. On Day 2 when we asked why the Jacuzzi wasn’t coming on, we were told that it wasn’t working, so why did they lie on Day 1. Furthermore, the sheets on the bed were surprisingly rough (due to excessive pilling of the fabric). I could go on nit-picking but see no point.

Great property with fantastic pool
Pool, view from the balcony, architecture
7.3
Very nice property with very impressive architecture, a 16th century (or so they claim) chapel in the garden, a beautiful pool area and lots of tranquility. Bed was not very comfortable as I felt the mattress was too weak and there is nothing wing distance of the hot for a few days.

Not a beach Hotel. Located in a bay.

Beware. this is not a beach hotel. It is in a bay. Not the powdery white sands as in other goa resorts.

Super Breakfast, Large Pools, Very Good Spa Massage and Great Service Overall!

Had a great stay overall, didn't really feel like stepping out of the hotel - had a great time at the indoor/outdoor pools, lovely 3 hour spa massage, spending time at the outdoor hammocks and not to forget the super buffet spreads available at their all-day dining restaurant.

Loved our stay at the Grand Hyatt. Service was excellent and the hotel was just beautiful.
We got a room facing the pool on the ground floor which was very convenient! we also got the grand club deal for about 3000 rupees plus tax every day which gave us free airport shuttle bus to and from the hotel, breakfast, and drinks and canapes at night! we just hung out there and kids loved it as it was facing the beautiful lawn.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Swimming pool is wonderful

Very nice hotel
Very spacious resort with nice beach, nice pool and many amenities. Especially the cuisine of the indian restaurant was very good. The staff is very helpful and ready to serve.
9.3
We had a very nice stay but were a little anoyed about the taxi prices. The hotel staff refuses to call metered taxis and the cars offered by the hotel or can be found outside the hotel are extremely expensive.

We stayed here for a week during November on a short trip to India. Beautiful hotel and impeccable service. Well designed with good sized rooms and capped off by stunning grounds. The beach is a bit ordinary, not the white sand we hoped for, but the pool sort of compensates for that.
Well located, between Panjim and the airport but wouldnt say convenient as it's pretty much on its own with nothing else around. This sort of hit home with eating - if you got sick of the breakfast/dinner serve, which we did, there's nothing else to choose from nearby.
If you've the budget though well worth a stay.
Shopping Tip:
Velha Goa for old old style portugese ceramic ware and Sirsat Jewelers both in Panjim
Don't buy from Miracle Emporium near Old Goa (we brought some dodgy jewelery there which the gents at Sirsat helped recover our money).

Good hotel with quiet environment
The hotel offers good quiet environment for true relaxation & unwind
6.3
The hotel staff is very kind and allow us to check in at early morning despite the usual regulation noon check-in time. The room was spacious but the cleanliness needs improvement. The hotel located by the beach and offers big greenery space, strategically along (in between) the airport to Panaji town.
