well located hotel basic accomadation

the hotel is an old building that's had a refit to low standard but you get what you pay for,the hotels is on the main road so is very noisy ,the wi fi does not work well goes on and off,the staff are the hotels best asset and was always willing to do there best with the facilities they had ,the hotel is the best for the money we could find and the hotel restaurant is very good for vegetarian
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
shop around for the best trips dont bother with the cheapest,visit morjam each ,try the street food,

Average hotel for families
Good for families, 3 person rooms

I had stayed at this hotel in mid February 2012 on my visit to Goa. The hotel itself is average.
Pros are the big rooms(relatively) and that the rooms can accommodate 3 adults by default. There is a nice balcony overlooking the pool but the view upside of that is nothing to write hme about you can see some shanties next to the hotel wall. Personally didn't find the much touted Orel food to be great either. It's veg alright but on the costlier side and pretty average you are better off exploring other food destinations n goa (In panjim g to Shere Punjab)
As far as cons go there are many small ones.
The room's bathroom was not clean. The view from balcony is not good and the beach is good distance away. Atleast for my room, the sliding door leading to the balcony was blocked and it was quite a task opening and closing it. The hotel's room service sucks. At 11 they told me that room service was closed(when do you hear something like that?) and most of the time their computer was down leading to and bills which they could not collate and led to a good 30 minutes wastage at checkout when they couldn't find the bill payments.
And finally, the food is not great. I know most research sites have said the food is good for vegetarians and I fell for that. Being a lifelong veg, I can only call the food costly and very average. The breakfast especially was below average.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Good place to stay only if you are a IG family. Else explore options on the same road as this intel. There are many better ones at the same rate.
