The Soneata Inn was a good hotel that I would recommend. The rooms are arranged around a good pool with balconies that allow you to open up the rooms and enjoy the great weather. The rooms were still modern but but not ultramodern. The included breakfast was generous with various options. The location was great with a the beach ajointing the hotel. However the hotel is between two shopping area and a long walk or a short Tuk Tuk ride is required for shopping.
If going to Goa I would stay there again and recommend to others.
Restaurant Tip:
If looking for great Indian food The Curry House is Condolim is the best I found in Goa.

despite its excellent location sonesta inns turned out to be a disapointment. poor breakfast, a pressure pump of the water system right above our room that kicked in every time somebody in one of the 6 rooms opened a valve, and bedlinnen that was rather light grey then white. personel though keen to help.

Wonderful Rooms and Lovely Pool

Just 2 small negatives - the safe did not unlock with the same code several times, then unlocked after a while. Service was 5-7 slower than expected.
Breakfast menu was average.
Lovely swimming pool, courteous staff and very reasonably priced food and drinks. cocktails were great and so was the food. The best part of the hotel was the spacious rooms with big balcony and the clean pool.

Just renovated, very nice 3 star hotel.
The room was absolut wonderful, because it has been just renovated.

i would recomend this hotel to all, who are looking for great, but not too expensive hotel in south goa. the room has been just renovated and very luxurious. what i do not like is the beach. if you want very great beach, do not choose south goa! go to the north part!

Great Location being close to beach. The hotel was being refurbished during the time of our stay which was a bit off-putting but the rooms are excellent and clean and bathrooms of high standard. Lovely pool which is kept spotless. The food was not that great and the selection for breakfast poor but there aremany places to eat nearby so was not a problem. Overall had a pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel as it is clean and well kept and once renovations are complete which should be soon would be well worth the amount charged.
