We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom villa on a hill overlooking an amazing view - the hotel took note we were a family of six with different hotel rooms and put us all together!
Highly recommended-stayed at close to 12 hotel throughout our trip but this was priceless! Great staff, attention to detail and convenient

A very warm hotel in a beautiful property

The hotel is at a very good location at a property that is very well maintained. The views of the sea and the fort are really worth the stay at this hotel. The staff are ever helpful and quick to offer suggestions when you need their help. over all a very lovely place to relax and forget your worries.
Restaurant Tip:
get room .. the best view in the property and also spend all your time lounging in the sfx lounge with sea views cool breeze and a good drink ..

this hotel was the first 5-star hotel opened in goa... in 1974. the property is beautiful, set on the remains of the old fort aguada, but unfortunately the facilities are showing their age. rooms decorations and furniture are dated, and the bathrooms leave much to be desired. housekeeping was clean enough, but our minibar was never replenished. staff was friendly, and accomodating when we needed to check out late. complementary shuttles are provided to and from the airport, but the ride takes at least an hour.

Stay was amazing. the hotel location was perfect by the sea and the staff were so amazingly accommodating moving our adult daughter from a room at the other end of the hotel to right next to us.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The only downside was the travel desk. the same taxi can be acquired just outside the gate for one fifteenth of the price charged by the hotel. they don;t tell you this but the taxis parked outside the gate are the same ones they use and so much cheaper, the drivers speak english and serive is the same.

wah taj ... the hotel is indeed wonderful with great location and clean beach. resort is located right on the beach. we received a warn musical welcome when we entered the resorts. the moment we stepped in , we knew its gonna be an awesome holiday for us and yes we were quite right. although expensive, but the quality and service was worth it. lobby was so beautiful and the staff helpful and there for you with a smile.we got a room for 18000 inr and the disappointing part was that this price does not include breakfast buffet. the room was clean enough and the bed sheets,towels etc were well cleaned and at the place.the swimming pool was small but the guests staying at fort aguada had the access to taj holiday village too and it has a great pool with a bar in it. overall it was a wonderful stay but i suggest if anyone wants to stay at the taj fort aguada , you should stay at holiday village ( that is also a property of taj ) and is almost attached to fort aguada. the resorts also offer free to and fro car service from fort aguada to holiday village.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Get rooms on ground floor as they have a private sit out.
