Huuge lobby that also can be cold
Service is spotless but not much personality A great place as a base camp to explore Ooty and the surroundings. Staff is helpful and if you request a Valley Side Room (don't accept "Main gate" due to the generator or "Mountain View" rooms - Valley is what you want!) you will have a magnificient view. Rooms can be a little cold in Winter as Ooty is very high up in the mountains.
Room Service is quite pricey but they were quick and food was good.
Big breakfast buffet.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : When booking a tour with one of the agencies in town, make sure they write down the itinerary and negotiate hard - Wildlife Sanctuary is not worth it if you dont go for an elephant ride.
