Great for relaxation
Nice pool area and near beach

this hotel is situated in a quiet peaceful area. the pool area is great for relaxing. the food served at the restaurant is decent and tasty. the rooms are a good size, the bed was a bit hard though. the staff were very friendly and was willing to go out of their way to assist guests. the beach is a 5 minute walk away along a scenic route. mosquito's can be a problem, so bring repellent.
Restaurant Tip:
The beach shack restaurants (especially the one on the left coming onto the beach walking through coconut grove hotel) serve fresh seafood!

Excellent sized rooms with baths and efficent air-conditioning and balconies. Plenty of very hot water. The resaurant manager a bit pushy with his fish dishes and sulked when not taken up! All other staff very friendly and helpful. Drinks and snacks served by pool whenever required, and towels provided for pool. More sunbeds needed at poolside though. 10min pretty walk to beach. Great stay.
Travel tip:
Note:complimentary breakfast served from 8am-10am...not to be missed!
DON'T have laundry service here-the most overcharged prices in all of India!
The reception have spare SIM cards for guests use but you have to ask!
Airport transfer by hotel is 700rupees each way but very reliable.

Beuatiful swimming pool, near to beach

Excellent stay. Complimentary breakfast and swiiming pool just made it! Rooms spacious and clean. Bath and hot water fab. Balcony unexpected pleasure looking out over paddy fields and palm trees. Waiters gentle, quiet and willing to help and serve snacks and drinks even down at the poolside, which is just across the lane from the hotel. More sunbeds by pool needed. Owner lovely and friendly. Altogether a good stay and very relaxing. Didn't want to leave!
Restaurant Tip:
8am-10am complimentary breakfast. Beware restaurant manager, a bit pushy and grumpy!

Aufenthalt im Alagoa Resorts
Strand ist nur ein paar Gehminuten vom Hotel entfernt, es ist sogar möglich zufuss nach Colva zu gehen

Nettes Hotel, frühe Ankunft und frühe Abreise waren kein Problem. Das Hotelrestaurant ist zwar ziemlich schlicht, aber es gibt gutes Essen. Die Hotelzimmer sind nicht sehr groß aber haben einen Balkon.

Angenehmes kleines Hotel mit leichten Macken
Das Alagoa Resorts ist ein kleines, im Prinzip ruhiges Hotel mit einer guten internationalen Gästemischung. Keine Nationalität ist so häufig vertreten, dass es Ärger mit den Anderen gibt, im Gegensatz z.B. zu den größeren, in der Nähe befindlichen Hotels.
Die Matratzen sind gut.
Klimaanlage sehr gut regelbar.
Zum inkludierten Frühstück gibt es 1 Glas Saft, Tee oder Kaffee, Toast, Butter, Marmelade und 2 Eier, die auf Wunsch in vielen Variationen verarbeitet werden (Omelett, gekocht, gebraten, pochiert)

Die Zimmer im neuen Teil zur Meerseite sind ruhiger, mit richtigem Balkon hell und freundlich mit AC, Wanne und WC. Sie sind daher zu bevorzugen.
Die Räume im älteren Teil haben AC, WC und Dusche, sowie eine Art Wintergarten, keinen Balkon und oft keine direkte Lüftungsmöglichkeit über Fenster.
Auf vernünftig vorgetragene und fundierte Kritik wurde bei mir umgehend reagiert.
Da ich die Marmelade nicht mochte, erhielt ich auf meine Bitte zum Frühstück geschnittene Tomaten oder Bananen ohne Aufpreis.
Ich wollte ursprünglich 10 Tage bleiben, habe dann um 5 Tage verlängert. Das hätte ich nicht gemacht, wenn ich nicht zufrieden gewesen wäre.

Berechtigte Kritik vernünftig und fundiert vortragen, ggf. das Chefehepaar ansprechen.

Maisema oli mukavan rauhoittava, lehmät ja biisonit määkivät takapihan peltoaukiolla. Lyhyt matka merenrantaan. Hotelliin kuului myös uima-allas josta meille ei kerrottu, löydettiin se omin avuin viikon päästä kun oltiin saavuttu hotellille.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Taksikuskit osasivat kertoa erilaisista nähtävyyksistä lähialueilla. Mm. vesiputoukselle, Spice Gardenille, eläintarhaan, temppelit, Palolemin rannalle jne..

En saanut deluxe huonetta. Tunnen tulleeni huijatuksi. Maksoin deluxesta ja sain standardin! Miksi ei mitään hyvitystä? Hintaero oli huima. Toivon pikaista yhteydenottoa! Uima-allas ei ole samalla tontilla hotellin kanssa! Kuulin uima-altaasta vasta kotona.
