The staff were really helpful. They helped me to join a bus tour for INR 250 only. I was the only foreigner in the tour, but it turned out to be one of my best experiences in India. The room was more spacious than I expected. I will definitely stay in this hotel again if I go to Goa.

its a nice hotel in an area without much choice.. Near the beach their is many resorts and the like but for train station and further exploring this is the best on offer in the town itself.
Restaurant Tip:
buy more than 100 rupee in coffee shop and get free lobby wifi access..
15min walk to train station or 2min in tuk tuk

Great hotel in good loction

We had a great stay here for the most part. Rooms are super clean, with modern bathrooms and even a rainhead shower! Most rooms face the main road but windows are solid enough so you really don’t hear much noise. We were on the top floor at the very end of the hallway away from the elevators, and while we looked out over the neighboring gas station below, the view beyond to the park and hills was nice.
Staff was a bit unfriendly upon check-in and not very helpful save for one front desk man, who offered to let us have some free sandwiches/coffee from their 24-hour coffee shop since our train was so early we’d miss the free breakfast buffet. This after my wife had inquired if there were any options for breakfast that day and several staff said “no” outright. The same man also got us a taxi at a reasonable price for the train station drop before sunrise.
The pool is very clean but cold! Also, it’s a bit awkward swimming here, as the main restaurant overlooks the pool, so as a Western woman my wife had many Indian men staring at her as she swam, even in her conservative 1-piece bathing suit. Don’t expect anything fancy – there are 2 old wooden sun loungers with pads that are comfy enough, but that’s about it. However, it is quiet back here.
There was minor construction going on that didn’t really transfer over to our room but it did affect the pool area.
Breakfast is good with a decent buffet selection of Indian items with toast/butter/jam and eggs made to order. The rooftop terrace setting is quite nice and peaceful, with great views over a large swath of Goa.
The surrounding area is great, with small little streets

The hotel did not look too good on the outside, but it turned out to be a nice place. The staff was friendly, and there was a good restaurant. The room had enough space and was clean. The wifi was rather expensive compared to the overall price level.
