Value for money. Okay for budget travelers.
Very basic rooms, but clean. The bathroom was clean and there was hot running water in the showers. The food served in the restaurant on 7th Floor is really good.

at the beginning, i did not like the first room that i was shown and i complained immediately, i saw a cockroach running under the bed. however, the reception staff reacted immediately and showed me another room that was far cleaner and i stayed there two nights. there was air conditioning in the room and the tv was functional with many cable tv channels to choose from. i usually ordered food from the restaurant on the 7th floor. i would recommend you talk directly to the restaurant manager and ask him what's good, rather than ask the waiters. the waiters seemed to be clueless and poorly trained. but the restaurant manager made good recommendations and i dined there most of the time, without any problems. it's located in margao city and you can easily walk to an auto-rickshaw stand nearby and also pilots (goan bike taxis). i had a family member admitted in apollo victor hospital and you can easily reach the hospital in 2-3 minutes by bike and 15 minutes by walking.
Restaurant Tip:
1) Eat on the 7th Floor restaurant in the hotel and ask the Rest. Manager for suggestions, he's good and makes good recommendations.
2) Longuinho's Restaurant is walking distance away, good food, reasonable priced. It's one of the better places to eat at in Margao. Very basic, so don't expect 5 Start service or ambiance.

Centre of Margao with a great restaurant

Pretty basic hotel but in a good location to see the (limited) sights of Margao. Stayed a couple nights in between connections and easy rickshaw out to the beaches. Food in the restaurant is some of the best we've had in India, give it a go!

Business hotel in the centre of town

this hotel is in the centre of magoa, close to the market and shops. it's a good place to explore the little beach towns, but magoa has little interest itself. the room was ok, clean, balcony, ac, but nothing special. there is a restaurant on the rooftop. it serves good food, but very quit. there is no wifi. there is a computer in the lobby, but the internet was sometimes very very slow. still, if you don't want to go to the beach, i think panaji is a better place to hang around.
