location - away from beach

Great little hotel and room was fantastic.
Pool wasnt cleaned though on my final day and breakfast was half the menu due to no guests.
Had to get a complimentary taxi to the beach but other than that was fine
Travel tip:
Be aware, you cant walk to the beach from the hotel

Best Part Of My Trip To Goa
Amazing Room, Beautiful Pool, Gorgeous Surroundings, and an Excellent Staff

i recently spent 18 days in goa. thirteen days in north goa and 5 days in south goa. i really wish i would have spent all 18 days at the fern in palolem (south goa). completely laid back atmosphere with the most friendly people i met during my whole trip. the hotel is a short bike ride (5 minutes) to the beaches and various activities. delicious food served including the free breakfast which was the best i had in goa. also the wifi was included in the price of the room which i found was very nice considering other places i stayed in goa tried to nickle and dime me for internet access. they also provided me with a motorbike rental and arranged for my transport to the airport when i left.
if i ever return to goa i will be staying at the fern gardenia no doubt about it!
Restaurant Tip:
Definitely go to Magic Italy in Palolem Beach. They serve amazing Italian food and the place is run by the sweetest Italian family. Very high quality food! Best pizza I have had in India and may actually be the best pizza I have ever had. =)
