Fantastic character hotel right in city center
Location, room design and roof top restaurant

We had a fabulous stay here, the room had breath taking views over the lake and city centre and the room was large and very comfortable with good strong wi fi in the rooms.
The owners and staff were always very helpful and made us feel very welcome.
The food was delicious and the view from the roof top restaurant has to be seen to be believed.
Such a wonderful stay and will definitely come back again

Excellent hotel, I can’t really fault it. Everything was handled with a really nice professionalism and personal service without being too much. Everything in this hotel is geared towards giving you a hassle free experience, for example, the way you can just start a tab at the restaurant and pay upon check out. Not a lot of other boutique hotels in India offer this. The restaurant rooftop is amazing and you will find that other tourists will come to visit it so book in advance. It is great to have the free breakfast there in the mornings and everything fresh and cooked to order of the menu. We had a nice view on the lake from our room. The Wifi is also good and seems quite fast from the room. The brothers who own the hotel are really nice and after a late checkout they let us sit in their chill-out room opposite the hotel while we waited for our train. A great experience.

Good for a night

Owner was very helpful and knowledgeable in advising us about where to go and how to go about it. Roof deck restaurant has an amazing view of the lake and the Lake Palace Hotel. Room was very clean. My only gripe was that the toilet seat and towel rack were unusually high (maybe it was just our room).

Our room was small but perfectly adequate, and immaculately clean.The restaurant was lovely, and the food was very good. The staff were helpful and friendly - nothing was too much trouble!

The hotel is located near the lake, having a great view from the restaurant located on the top floor. The rooms are quite small, but they are very clean. On the checkout day we had a late train at 10:20 pm. We definitely appreciated that we could leave our luggage in the TV room (caravanseray) and also rest there for some time before heading out to the train station. The staff was most helpful and with a good sense of humour. All in all we enjoyed our stay there and would go back when passing through Udaipur.

Hotel with a Heart!

We have nothing but good things to stay about the hotel. We arrived way to early than the check in time but the hotel allow us to stay at the tv room which is a very cool hangout place. After a long tiring 12 hours train ride, the place give you true comfort. The people is definitely the heart of this hotel. Yash, Hash and Pradeep are amazing to be around with as a quick chat with them will bring you laughter and put smile to your face. The breakfast is good but not as superb as other places we visited during our trip. Experiencing the view of the lake from our room is memorable. The hotel and it's people definitely complete our unforgettable journey to Udaipur.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Udaipur is definitely a must visit city if you head to Rajasthan. Everything is within walking distance from the hotel except certain attractions, in which the hotel would be more than happy to arrange for you at reasonable price.

Charming hotel in lovely Udaipur

We really enjoyed our stay here - the staff were very friendly and welcoming and professional, unlike other places we stayed in India. We arrived early and our room was ready for us by 9.30am. The room had a lovely view across the lake and was nicely decorated and very clean. The rooftop restaurant has great views and we enjoyed lunch there. The hotel arranged a car and driver for us to Jodhpur for a good rate. Overall an excellent place to stay in Udaipur.
