Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Comfortable hotel for varanasi
room size, close to ghats, relatively quiet
7.3
We upgraded to the executive room. Well worth the extra money as the room was huge and the cheaper rooms are tiny. About the only complaint is the air conditioning got a very sour smell after the 2nd day. It's a five minute walk to the ghats which is nice. They are also completing a new building next door which will be a real plus as everything in varanasi is old and run down.
TIP: the AUM Cafe (Om in many of the reviews) is on the way to the ghats. Look for the big sign. Wonderful lattes and cappuccinos!

Comfortable hotel close to ghats
walk to the ghats, relatively clean, big rooms

We booked the executive room. Well worth the extra money as they are twice as large as the regular rooms. Be sure you get this room as management seems to be indifferent as to the room choices people book!

Good choice for varanasi
relatively quiet, big room, walk to the ghats
7
Looking at the available options in varanasi this is probably one of the better ones. We booked the executive room which was very large and overall comfortable although the air con had a rather sour smell. Food in the restaurant is basic at best. Try the AUM Cafe which you will see the sign for as you walk to Assi Ghat. Terrific coffees and all food has been thoroughly sanitized - something you can't say about the rest of varanasi!

Location
One of the best thing with this hotel was its location near Assi Ghat which gives the easiest access to the famous ghats of Banaras.

Great location but very overpriced. My "executive" room didn't even have a mirror.

Great location within a few yards of the temples
Beautiful view from the terrace restaurant

The Casa di William is perfectly situated in Khajuraho. People visit to see the temples and the hotel is a two minute walk from the temple entrance. The service is attentive. The rooms are spartan. I liked having breakfast on the terrace under the flowering trees with the temple view.

worst hotel in all aspects
3.3
Our entire stay of four days nobody came for room cleaning, when we asked to change the foot mat at bathroom, they said that they do not have extra foot mats, what a joke(are they running a hotel or something else?)We didn't like food at their restraunt.Rooms are old type and please note this hotel does not have a lift.Hence this is not a hotel, this is a old lodge with no proper house keeping.I don't reccomend at any cost .
