Bad hotel as per location and service.

Rooms were never made up. Dining in the evening was non-existent and we were forced to go outside for dinner. Agoda should be more careful about listing such poor hotels on the website.

the room is quite good, my room has the window view of Ganga river, you can easily go to take the boat along Ganga river but the way to hotel is worst , any vehicle cannot entrance to those hotels near Ganga river so you have to walk up there like 20minutes , some indian people will come to help you to find , just let them do and pay some penny to them later because there are a lot of hotel near Ganga river

Perfect location , basic but clean

difficult to find, and difficult to access via the narrow lanes full of people , bikes and cows, it's worth getting there as location is perfect. sitting on the terrace watching the events below can pass hours. the food is good, freshly prepared. it has free wi-fi and some rooms have a/c ( not needed in february, but essential later in year) but pretty basic otherwise.
staff are indifferent but adds to the chaotic attitude prevailing in varanasi
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
6am take a boat trip or walk along the ghats (the riverbank) to see people washing in the Ganga (the Ganges)
The boats are like taxis (but negotiate the fare beforehand) . Some of the boatmen can be very entertaining.
Seeing the burning ghats, where the cremations take place is fascinating, but not for the faint hearted
