Friendly family-run hotel, perfect for relaxation

Abing Terrace is situated 20 mins drive from central Ubud in the rice fields. It is away from the hustle & bustle so perfect for rest & relaxation but close enough to Ubud for sightseeing & shopping. There is a shuttle service run by the hotel into Ubud, although this does have a charge.
The rooms are spacious and the recent renovation was evident. Outdoor power shower was a massive positive! The landscaping is exquisite and the infinity pool amazing!
There was not much choice for lunch if you didn't want indonesian food but this was likely down to there not being many guests in the week that we stayed. The food we did have at breakfast was lovely & good value for money.
The only negative was that there was not a safe in the room, although there was one at reception for storage of passports etc.
The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The owner's uncle made huge effort to talk to us every morning which was lovely.
Restaurant Tip:
Jazz Cafe, Ubud - great food, live music and good wine & cocktail choice
Kebun Bistro, Jalan Hannonman, Ubud - simply amazing food & lovely quaint interior & setting despite being situated on a busy road.

Value hotel with so much more to offer

We only stay here for one night, which was quite regretful. I surely will stay in ABing in the near future.
Staff was very-very friendly.
Room is very spacious and wonderfully designed eventhough it can still be improved. (u wont need the AC because of this side of Ubud is quite cool)
Swimming pool is not to big, but the water is warm.
But the most amazing thing is the view. The famous Ubud' Rice Terrace is just 3-5 minutes of walking away. The perfect getaway from the ever-hustling Ubud Center.
