Clean Hotel surrounded by third-world conditions
Menjangan Snorkeling, Ocean view, Grounds
8
Located in a third world fishing village their beach was clean but they were surrounded by trash. Menjangan alone was worth the trip.

Average resort
Good location, right in front of the beach, Esther 2 swimming pools
5.7
We were a bit desapointed with the hotel. Rooms have old furniture and are not very cosy. NO TV. Service was average both in reception and restaurant. Tried to pursuade us to dine at the hotel, but menu was limited and prices abusive (4,20u$ for a small beer!). Ir was cheaper anywhere else in town. Beach is not very nice. Few fishing boats right in front of the hotel... Not for a swim. Breakfast poor.

Lovely hotel in a tranquil environment
8.3
This is my 2nd visit back to Adi Assri... and I must say nothing has changed except for their expansion... they now have twice the number of rooms
Pros
- the dive centre (Sea Rovers) is just there, very convenient and staff are absolutely fantastic!
- they now have 2 restaurants and 2 pool but 1 of the restaurant was not in use, not sure why.
- the room is very clean, spacious and comfortable
- most of the staff are very friendly and polite
- I luv the location cos' its away from the hustle and bustle of the city and since my trip there is for diving, shopping is never in the itinerary, thus do not need any shopping malls. Diving is also not overcrowded, which is great. Although both visits were during the non-peak season but I believe their peak season is still not as crowded as that in the city eg. Kuta
Cons
- the food is less than ideal and yet expensive, so I had my meals outside the resort, which you can find in abundance.
- Wi-fi is very weak in the room and I had to walk around the room to try to get a better connection.
- there is no tv in the room which is not exactly a con as Im exhausted at the end of the night after all the diving and do not miss the tv.
- there is a spa place which is under construction, so they made do in one of the room, which proofs to be very uncomfotable as it was hot and humid. They do not turn on the ac, which I do not understand why.

lovely place to stay, lovely staff
we liked most of all the staff
8.7
we were welcomed with flowers, a robe and sandals and a cold drink. the staff are really sweet, and we were madde very comfortable.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
near by island good snorkelling, but bio-rock just a short walk up the beach is great snorkelling too and costs nothing. we enjoyed a day trip to igen crater, booking through the national parks and wildlife was a great bonus, as we had an informed guide. leave the car in gilimanuk and arrange for transport from the ferry in java or you will be caught in a traffic jam getting on and off the ferry for up to half a day.

Expensive, lovely location and features of hotel
Rooms are grouped in two's so you have seclusion
6.7
The bar was extremely expensive compared to everywhere else we visited during our 2 week stay in bali. The dive shop within the resort was also extremely expensive and inflexable and the staff performance was average. The food was lovely although meals were small, and we didn't always get exactly what we ordered?
There was skinny, diseased animals allowed to roam throughout the resort and through the restaurant which was our worst experience with this resort. A meowing cat sitting next to you while your trying to enjoy a meal is not nice, and a dog with flea allergy dermatitis using the sun beds as a bed is disgusting! Not to mention the parasites these animals would be carrying with their skinny frames and pot gut's.
It was a long way to travel up to be disappointed by the most expensive accomodation that we had booked.
Rooms were cleanish, the floors needed a good clean, and the outside bathroom had soapscum all over the walls and floor. The toilet wasn't secured to the floor and wobbled when you sat on it. Maybe instead of servicing the room twice a day to make your bed and give fresh towels, should be replaced by a bit of maintenance and quality cleaning.
The gardens and grounds were lovely and kept well.

You have a private beach area, sunny yet windy, which is good for a relaxing, sun tanning trip; hotel restaurant that is facing the sea, some table is sitting on the beach, which couples will definately love; and also quite a good place to watch stars at night, with dimmer light in the resort. Another thing u can improve is ur cleanliness especially the toilet facility, etc. there's mole on the wall n the floor is very oily. You have deep pool yet it is dirty n full with unknown chemical powder.
Also when I m sitting in the lobby, trying to connect to the wifi which I never succeed; I heard the front desk girl imitating another customer who called to complain about the food was never sent to their room. If she is too bored n need a good laugh, do that in a private room. It is very rude. The lobby is full with other tourists.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
It is a very long winding route to here from Kuta, be prepared if u ever wanted to visit here. You can 1st visit Bedugul then Mandut Village to see the Lake Tamblingan and Lake Bayan, thru Singaraja. Then the main road of Gilimanduk-Denpasar back, with a good view of Padi Teres, which to me is even better than the one at Ubud.

We stayed 2 nights. Went out to Deer Island. The dive shop were great and the reef off the island was magnificent with abundant species of fish. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was pretty good. The reef off the the beach was a short walk and worth a look.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Go out to the island snorkelling was excellent!
