We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were all really friendly and we loved having access to the alam room. Our room did smell very mouldy though. They tried to mask it with an automatic room freshener but that just made us feel sick.

Located right opposite the famous Kuta Beach. The staff are not very helpful and not at all flexible with the checkin and checkout times. We reached at 1:30 pm and requested for a checkin as their checkin time was 2p.m but they said they can only give the room after 2:30! The overall layout of the hotel and the landscaping is really good but the rooms seemed to be very basic(we stayed in Alam room) and stinky as well. Although didn't have any problems during our stay, but will not stay there again.

Nice hotel for a decent stay in Kuta
located in front of the beach

Great location in front of Legian beach. Rooms are clean and nicely decorated. They have tried to put together a Ubud spa style of hotel in the middle of Kuta, and the result is nice.
The restaurant is pretty bad and there is no internet in the rooms.

we were welcome by a lovely bathtub of roses and flowers... it has a small balcony but lovely with a nice pool view. though is it small, we enjoyed the facilities. good for small family and couple who wants to get away yet near the hassle and bussle of night life and beautiful legian beach (a stone throw away).
Travel tip:
Please plan your travel (arrival time) can be quite jam in the evening.

Good location. Happy with upgrade!!
Reasonable buffet breakfast, especially nice pastries and they have a Cimbali machine so you can have proper coffee. Good location. Villa room lovely (got upgraded, so gotta be happy with that!!) with good toiletries. Pretty gardens. Friendly staff.

Enjoyed our stay. We were delighted to find we had been upgraded from the Alam room to a villa, which was lovely. However, this does mean we can't comment on the quality or value of the Alam rooms, which when we walked around the hotel looked like they might have been quite basic and bit dark. Although no longer new, the villa room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The pools are not luxury, but fine for relaxing by and swimming. The TV reception was a little frosty (but we didn't spend much time watching TV, so no problem for us) and it would be convenient to have wifi in the room, rather than just the communal areas, but again, not a real issue. Only ate the included breakfast at the hotel, so can't comment on other meals at their restaurant. Papa's out the front made good pizza.

Fantastistic hotel to recommend.
in front of the the beach, very clean, fresh and delicious food, fantastic s.p.a. everything in perfect balinese style. Good position as it is very close to Kuta (10 min walking) but not in the middle of crowd

i spent very good time in alam kul kul hotel. it is perfect to go out in kuta without being inside the big crowd of the city. very clean, very good style of furniture ( balinese style). i really appreciated the s.p.a. of the hotel( excellent personnel, very professional, very hight quality of treatments and not too expensive)
Restaurant Tip:
Rosso Vivo is 5 minutes walking, very good quality of service, fresh fish and very good cocktails

Beautiful Atmosphere and Service!
The relaxing atmosphere, staff were extremely helpful, rooms were nice and big!

I will stay here again for sure, it was a suprisingly nice hotel as its not overly expensive. We were expecting much less than what we arrived to!
