the superior room we booked was smallish and had 2 single beds. we upgraded to a deluxe room with a king bed for $15 extra. it was very nice with a view of the open reception area and one of the two pools. service is very friendly and helpful. they are obviously making a big effort if this area. the breakfast buffet is quite extensive and the coffee palatable which is more than we could say for the coffee in ubud. dinner in the restaurant was also good.
Travel tip:
The hotel is quite far from the main road but they offer a free shuttle service. It is also much further from the beach than we expected and roads and sidewalks in Seminyak make it a virtual impossible walk to the beach.

My critiscism of the Amadeas concerns its internet policy. It is expensive if used in the room. A free public area in a hallway is availabe but that location is extremably hot as there are no AC outlets; no fans and no airflow, and a haven for ankle biting bugs. I would suggest free internet in the rooms.
Nightlife Tip:
It is right outside on the street yet the rooms are in a tranquil area....find out the attributes and entertainment of each restaurant.

all was more than ok pretty clean, well maintain, well located feel like alone in the forest very calm, service around can be a bit pricey but always good quality, go outside if you wat cheaper

great location, during the day you can stroll along the boutiques or cafes near by and at night, you can hang out in near by restaurant till late and walk back to the hotel. the room was ok. the breakfast was ok as well, wouldn't say it fantastic. a good thing to stay in seminyak area, it only takes around 20-30 minutes to nusa dua area or kerobokan area. stayed in nusa dua area last time, and it took almost 1 hour to go to metis (kerobokan area) for dinner.

not a bad place to stay for our visit. accomodation had everything you could want. free internet, pool, poolside bar, restraunt, nice rooms.
although the area in seminyak is quite a pricey area of bali. shopping is there but you are better off catching a cab to legain for shops.
