Perfect quiet location

We stayed at Amadea for 2 nights at the end of our Bali trip. As other people have commented, the location is perfect. Set back from the main road so very tranquil but a short buggy ride to the entrance and you are right in the middle of shops and restaurants. We stayed in the apartment suite (with 2 small children) and it was very spacious. Plenty of room for the kids to play, 2 separate TVs, a large bathroom, and a large kitchen/dining room...the biggest I've seen in an apartment style room! My only gripe with the room was that our bed mattress was ROCK hard! The staff were pleasant (as always in bali) and the breakfast was just ok. The pool area was very quiet when we stayed there so it doesn't have the vibe of a bigger resort. There is also a second pool which I had a look at and that was very secluded so if it's privacy or peace and quiet you're after, it seems the other pool would be perfect. Next time I would like to stay in one of the villas which look amazing! It's not the most fantastic place I've stayed in Bali but for the price we paid and the location I don't think you can go wrong at Amadea.
Restaurant Tip:
Grocer and Grind for lunch (10 min walk). Fantastic food!

Beautiful Clean Bali Resort with Friendly Staffs

Amadea is a very clean and modern looking resort hotel at the central of shops and yummy restaurants. we enjoyed our stay there alot as the staffs were very friendly and nice, asking us if we have any plans and suggestings plans and venues for us.
I was there with one of my Wedding Couple shooting their prewedding and the staff even helped to think of beautiful locations for our shoot, helping us find the brochures and everything. I think that really made my Day, having good nice staffs. =D
overall, I think I had a great stay at Amadea! Oh yah the breakfast is YUMMY too!!

Beautiful Villas that make you feel like home
Spacious villas infront of the pool

girlfriend and i was on stay stay without husbands and kids. this resort was fantastic. right in the heart of the shopping surrounded by wonderful resuarants. the room was huge and right outside the door was the pool. the staff very friendly and the place is so new.

Nice new hotel with amazing staff

We spent 10 days here.
The hotel is located in a good area, with lots of good restaurants (although there are a lot of Italian). And good shopping nearby. It is out of the hussle and bussle of Kuta, but it's easy to get around and see the other areas. One of the other reviews mentions that it is down a long alley -which put us off a bit, but actually the "Alley" is just the road that leads back from the street, once you have gone through the security checkpoint.
The hotel was nice and clean, with decent sized rooms. The hotel provided us with a travel cot, which fit easily in the corner still leaving us lots of room.
The pool is nice, although fairly plain, but our daughter (under 2) loved it.
The staff exceptionally friendly and were very helpful and able to answer our questions.
There is wifi in the rooms, but you have to pay for it. There is also free wifi in the restaurant after midday.
The restaurant staff were also very helpful and we reccommend the Nasi Campur and the beef burgers. Breakfast was included and had some small changes from day to day, not much range of cereal, but they did have a cook to order egg station.
Travel tip:
We were able to get a local sim card for our iPhone including data for AUS$10 which was plenty for the 10 days we were there.

it was our first holiday with our 1 year old daughter. we stayed at amadea with 2 other families. arrived at 2pm (exactly check in time) but we have to wait for another hour to get the third room ready. the waiting is okay, because we get the rooms exactly the way we want them. 3 rooms next to each other and double bed. during our 3 days stay, we were very happy with the staff. all of them are all smile, helpful and friendly. always ready to give us the golf cart ride. amadea is at the heart of seminyak. walking distance to great places for dinner, shopping and the beach is not far. but the highlight of amadea is their 50cm deep, swimming pool. perfect for my daughter.

It has been great staying there with very good service until we were charged phone bills which didn’t go through.
We tried to make phone calls when we arrived but couldn’t hear any sounds. The staff at the reception explained that the hotel was having a problem with phone lines.
Then 10 days later when we were about checking out, we were given a bill with phone call charges.
We explained what we were told on that day, but it didn’t help. We were running late to our flight, so we just paid that.
It was a bit of shame because we had a great time there, very clean, big room, friendly staff and great location. Maybe we were just unlucky with that bill.
In the end, I’m happy to go back to stay there.
