Room is a good size for a budget hotel. However, south side suffer's noise from road and music from bars, breakfast is always cold and runs out, there is no garden and limited space poolside to relax, pool gets no sun all day and because of the design of the hotel anything that happens in the pool or restaurant is heard by everyone in the hotel. Cleaning was at a minimum, bed sheets were not changed for the whole week even though rerquested, bathroom/ toilet started to smell by the end of the week.No room service or poolside service.
Hotel Feature Tip:
if you must stay here request room on fifth floor that is on the nortnern side

stayed in amaris for my last day in bali. hotel is just 5mins away from the beach and surrounded with different warungs. easy access and recommended for surfers looking to upgrade from staying in shacks.

The room is small, and the air-cond is leaking in the middle of night (not only my room but my friend's as well). Location is in the middle to the Kuta beach and not in the walking distance to Jalan Legian.

we had a very pleasant 5 days stay at this hotel. everything were fine, cleaning, size of room, breakfast etc. the staff are lovely and very helpful. great service , this is a value for money place, keep this running like now !
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
You should book a one day cycle tour with mr. Yoga from Helo Bike (www.halobiketour.com). Here yoy see the real Bali and learn about lifestyle and culture. Good home cooked food as well. The tour is not hard, most people can join and the 26 km ride is so smooth, you don´t believe it ;) After the tour back to Yoga´s home to have lunch, enjoy. Wish all at helo Bike all the best !

Good location but small rooms

The hotel was quite noisy as the sound echoed up from the pool area and noise from staff and guests could be heard. People knocking on doors near the room early in the morning was also annoying. The pool was in shade all day and was very cold. There was nowhere quiet and relaxing to sit.

Short walk down a small path to Legian beach and Mugshots Coffee across the street. Single room is small, but modern and clean. Pretty reliable internet access with multiple wifi servers. If you can't get service, ask to be moved to another room. Worth the Agoda price. Only con is the pool has no sun exposure (surrounded by multistory rooms).

The hotel was clean, well run, breakfast was a standard buffet. There were stains on our sheets when we arrived, looked like old blood stains. The wifi worked well, although only one log on per room, so not good if two people want to use it at the same time.
All in all a good starting place in Bali, would stay again and recommend to others.

Amaris Hotel Legian Bali must be the one of your choice if you look for a cheap hotel in Bali. Like other Amaris the room was small, but very clean and modern.
